Quality of Beachs and Cream???

How is Beaches & Cream? Is it made-to-order?

How is the taste? Are we talking Wendy's? Culvers? 5 Guys? Better?
 
It's a normal sit-down restaurant. So food is made to order.

IMO, the taste of the burgers at B&C is far better than fast food burgers. The burgers are very tasty, but they also offer other food choices. And I would recommend getting their onion rings!
 
The quality is great! Surpasses Wendy's to be sure... I second the vote for the onion rings! If you plan on getting an ice cream creation for dessert, you might want to split a meal with someone. (Large portions!) They will cut the burger (or sandwich) in half if you ask. This is a great choice for a counter-service meal!
 
We liked it. The food was good and the service was as well. WE did nto get dessert because we were going to the luau that evening. I would suggest ADR's though. It is small.

It is NOT a CS meal, it is a Table Service restaurant. We did not like the burgers and will probably not return
 
It's not gourmet, it is what it is. Quality matches price (and I mean that in a good way). It's simple food burgers, dogs. I like it. My wife loves the tomato bisque and grilled cheese. Definitely better than a fast food restaurant and IMO better than a QS. It's basically a diner.
 
Of the places on your list, 5 Guys is a better burger. It won't blow the doors off, but it is ok. We like the tomato bisque, onion rings and Frozen Sunshine. The ice cream is just Edy's but there is something about eating it there that makes it taste better. :)

I thought their burgers were poor. Nothing close to 5 Guys. They seemed to be premade and barely heated up. I'll get the hot dog next time if I go.
 
I think that when you choose restaurants in DIsney, you have to go in not expecting the food to live up to the hype. Many times you will be let down if you do. Choose your meals because the restaurants are convenient to your plans, or that have food and ambiance that you are looking for. Beaches & Cream is a good little restaurant, and is reminiscent of the old soda shops. I remember we enjoyed our lunch. If I had used a credit I would not have liked it so much. LOL!

If B&C is convenient, definiately try it, but just remember that your experience may not be what others is. Just look at Le Cellier. My family will never bother with that one again, yet it is so popular that it is back to two TS credits, and one of the more difficult ADR's.
 
I would love to try it as well. But, there is nothing available for our trip before 10 pm. LOL Not able to do that with a toddler. Will keep checking.
 
I think their burger is really no different from most of the hamburgers on the property. Only the one I had there was the worst.
