Passes

Plastic Keys to the World, like a credit card. Unless you pick the electronic option, then you only get a number emailed to you. Magic Bands only come with Annual Passes and onsite room reservations or can be purchased. They technically have nothing to do with park tickets though. I whole-heartedly recommend UT. We have used them several times for WDW, DLR, and Universal.

They will send you an old style plastic (credit card style) park pass. It will have a number on the back that you can link to your MDE account. Works like a charm.

Thanks, we used them also but not since they started with the bands.

As stated above,
MagicBands are not tickets.
So, ticket vendors, even those on-site at WDW, do not offer MagicBands when guests purchase tickets.
When you purchase a ticket from any ticket seller, you get a flat plastic card with an internal RFID chip.

That ticket can assess the park entrance gates (tickets,) FP+ entrances, FP+ kiosks, WDW Resort room door locks, charge purchases to the WDW resort room, access Dining Plans, access theme park parking, and other on-site uses.

MagicBands are just another way to ACCESS all of the above situations.
Guests staying at a WDW resort, will be given MagicBands free-of-charge.

Guests not staying at a WDW resort, can decide to purchase MagicBands if they like.
A standard MB costs $12.95, plus tax.
