just want to share this with you, figured you would all understand.
Since our first visit in 2013 we have become huge DL fans. Mrs McN and Miss McN6 probably are 8/10 on the scale, but DD9 and I are probably a 12 or 13 out of 10. There isn't a day we don't talk about it. One of the ways we fulfil our passion is watching FreshBaked on YouTube, I'm sure like many others here. We recently started noticing the birthday wishes they out there, and this was as my eldest was approaching her 9th birthday. She sometimes commended on the birthday wishes, wondering how people got their names up there.
Anyway, last week, I emailed the good folks at FB with her details (BD April 19th). There was no response so wasn't sure if they received it ok. I checked Tuesday night if the videos from the weekend had been uploaded, and a few minutes in to the first one, sure enough her name popped up.
I decided to surprise her with this. Wednesday nights are when her grandparents come and stay, so was the perfect time. While dinner was cooking I suggested we catch up on some FB for the week. We all started watching, I had to make sure she was paying attention, then there it was, her name on the birthday wishes. She looked at me and burst in to tears, she was so overwhelmed with emotion. I had paused the video, and she kept looking back at it. She gave me the biggest hug, and said it was the best birthday present ever! It was such a magical moment, one I won't forget!
(Ps I think she has a secret crush in Dusney Ninja. He better watch out when we are there inOctober.)
