Coronado Fans-PLEASE POST WITH REVIEWS & RECENT PHOTOS!

We had a 10 day trip at the Coronado resort in 2010 with our then 10 and 12 year old girls. Although the theme of the this resort seems a bit more adult to me, the environment is very relaxed. We loved laying on the beach hammocks near the lake in the afternoons, strolling around the walking path surrounding the lake in the evenings and the lounge at the Coronado was pleasant on the evening we went there. It was a very laid back atmosphere and we absolutely loved it! It was in our top choices for our next trip, but alas, we decided to try something new and we have reserved AKL/AKV through a point rental from a DVC member here on the forum.

We're staying at CSR for the first time 10/31 through 11/6 and this thread has us so pumped! I've always been a POP/POR guy so all the pics really have us excited about what we have waiting!

Thanks for all the pics!

That pool looks like it is dying to be jumped into!!! Can't wait till my Bday visit in October!! (can wait to turn another year older though LOL)

I am with you. Celebrating my birthday in Disney in October also. Stayed at Coronado last year. We loved it! Try the nachos at the Pepper Market. Yummmmmm

We will be at CSR in October (15-20) and this is our first time staying here. DH and I are beyond excited because this is one place we have been wanting to try but haven't yet. This is also a trip that wasn't suppose to happen in the first place since we were just there in January and even though we do go multiple times a year, we were just going to go once, however, when the girls and I flew with SW (DH came down a couple of days later so he flew on another carrier), we were able to get a very nice credit since the flights went down in price from when I first booked the tickets and the credit has to be used by November. So DH and I thought we would do a surprise trip and stay in the resort that we have been wanting to stay at. I am so excited to lay around that gorgeous pool and walk around the pretty grounds :goodvibes. I had requested the Cabanas section because we want to be close to the Dig Sight pool and not have to walk too far to get to the main building...what does everyone think about this area? I really like the look of the Ranchos, but I think it will be too far of a walk to get to the front.

Cabanas is perfect for what you are saying..... you'd be right in between the two!

I have a whole lot of pictures I took on a trip here last year that I never got around to posting. Here is my onslaught of photos from this picturesque resort

clearskies....WOW! Such a pretty resort through your lens! The photos are beautiful. I especially love the night shots, and the ones with the clear-as-glass lake. The 'gator scares me :fish::eek: No thank you!!

Thanks for taking the time to post these great photos!! I could look at them all day!! (and probably will while I'm at work...)

I'm echoing Lisann...these photos are stunning! It just makes our upcoming first stay here seem that much more exciting!

Thank you so much for sharing!

Those were some awesome pictures! And you even got to see the gator! I looked for him but to no avail. I would have loved to have seen those photos before my trip there last year. Again great shots!
