I have seen some pics of BWV room updates... Looks great! Anyone have pics of BCV or have they not started..

All I have seen is the photo of some renderings on DVCNews.com! I am dying for some real pictures. I just received my 210 BCV points add-on! We have actually never stayed in the villas, just at the BC Resort once. The renderings look gorgeous, and I am thrilled to see what my future second home will look like since I won't be staying there until late 2016. My 2015 trip is BLT!

I read in Disney Files we would get pictures in the next issue. Too slow for my taste.

As of mid-April, the work has not started on BCV.

When I was at BCV in January, none of the CMs I spoke with (including front desk) even KNEW about a rehab. Since I just got a letter about planned "magic making" noise (Disney-speak for rehab) during my October visit, I agree that it probably hasn't started yet.

We're here now & they're still working on the regular rooms. You can see plastic on the windows & hear construction noise. I didn't see anything going on in the DVC rooms but we're close to the elevator so I haven't checked out all areas.

ahh..ok. Thanks. Cant wait to see what they do!? I love the hardwood/laminate floor at BWV. Hopefully they do something like that.

Can I ask - with the current, un-refurbished state of the rooms - would this be somewhere that you would still stay? Or would you go for BWV? Wondering if the lack of rehab is something that would be a deterrent?

It depends on the type of refurbishments. I'd play it safe and go to the Boardwalk villas, or a different resort. The last thing you want is to have construction going on and have it interfere with your stay. A lot of people learned the hard way with the Polynesian. But the new rooms at BCV look great!

Spent a week at BCV Nov 2014 1 Bdrm villa. Rehab is definitely needed over there. VWL stay pre-refurbishment and the room was much nicer than BCV. Planning Dec 2015 BCV studio, hoping rehab is done and we get to experience the new room. Would love to see some pics once they have a rooms that are done in circulation!
