Just trying to see exactly what I need to do with concerns on Restaurant reservations and setup for fastpass+. We will be setting up our resort sometime in June and will be purchasing tickets through work (Chase discounts) later in the year. Wanted to know if the Disney tickets have to be purchased to do the reservations for restaurants at 180 days out and fastpass+ at 60 days or will the resort reservation in June be good enough?

For dining you are good with the resort reservation. For FP+ you need tickets.

The resort reservation is all you need to be able to book yourADRs at 180+10. As far as tickets, you do need those in time to book Fastpass reservations at 60 days out.

Thanks for the quick respond. First time doing the resort and fastpass+ setup. Our earlier trips were before the new fastpass+ and off site. The kids were the runners for the fastpass :).

Answers to FP FAQs like yours can be found in the green link in my signature.

You can actually book restaurant reservations without any kind of resort reservation at 180 days out. If you do have a resort reservation, you'll be able to book at 180 days out + the number of nights you are staying ... meaning at 180 days from your first night, you'll be able to book all your dining reservations for all nights up to 10 nights.
