I can't wait any longer! ~UPDATE 5/25 I'm back!

:rotfl: I can't believe you actually did that!! :lmao:
And yes... I love it! :goodvibes
Of course I did!!! You should never doubt me! ;)

You have a busy week ahead! All the better to pass time until DISNEY!
That's SO true!!! The busier the week, the faster it will go, right?! Speaking of time going by... I've been noticing you inching closer and closer to the 11 months+ mark... woohoo!!!

And I can't wait to read more about your plans - especially the 24-hour day! And to see what dates you picked for your next trip!
Comin' up soon! I can't wait to share!!! :thumbsup2

I love Wegmans! We didn't have one near us when we lived in Virginia but since moving to Pennsylvania I'm a total convert!
Right?! I don't know what I did before Weggies

Good luck if you decide to pursue it! :goodvibes
Thank you!!! Some definite advantages for sure... not to mention what I pay in rent is just absurd. :faint: :sad2:

Happy to help! :rotfl: I was thinking that I need to do a post about this. I know I have overlap with a number of DISers and need to make sure I've got it all figured out. :teacher:
Doing an update focused on Dismeets is a great idea!!! Not to mention all the Disers that are now CMs too who can be tracked down! ::yes::

Okay, I think you've inspired me. I've never done this, but we have envelopes, Minnie stickers, and a toddler that will need something to do on an airplane...
I think envelopes designed by Izzy would be perfect!!! :thumbsup2

I love that little notebook - its so cute! Take lots of great notes for your upcoming TR! :thumbsup2
Thank you! It's so adorable, it'll definitely inspire me to have it out a lot to take some great notes!

Sounds like you are going to be super busy this weekend, so just try to relax and enjoy!
Sure will... but the silver lining is that the time will probably go by super fast! :thumbsup2

Wait... You have a dentist appointment AND a Disney trip????? How did you get so lucky?
I know! The funny thing was... I was supposed to have this dentist appointment last month but I got sick and had to reschedule. They said "April 29th" and my first thought was "only 2.5 weeks until Disney from that appointment." I think among our Dis pals though, isn't everything just relative to "Disney time"?!

See, this is why I don't bother running. I can injure my knees just fine without running, thank you. :snooty:
Point taken, Rob. :rotfl:

Yeah... Just keep rubbing that in there Tracy. Seriously though, YAY!
;) and then :goodvibes

I'd be interested to hear how this compares to the MGM show.
I know... me too (it's been a couple trips since I actually sat down for this show). Except now I'm thinking "do I really want to see this show, having just seen the national tour version?" :confused3  I guess I'll play it by ear... contrary to what I may portray, I can be a "go with the flow/see what mood strikes me" type of park commando :rotfl:

I always planned to do that one day. Maybe I need to write some notes in a notebook to remind me.
It still amazes me that you don't require notes for your amazing trip reporting. I couldn't do it!

YAY DISmeets. I've heard they can be pretty fun. :goodvibes
You couldn't possibly have any personal experience to back that up, could you?! ;)

Your upcoming week does sound super exhausting but a lot of fun things in there too!! It's funny - DisMeets sound like so much fun....everyone has such complicated plans though...how do you get people in the same place at the same time lol. I'm sure it will happen because super organized people will make it so...but I'm sure it will involve spreadsheets!
That's SO true! In the past when I'd read a TR and someone would say "darn, we just couldn't make a meet happen with so and so" I'd think "ahhhh, how could you not squeeze it in?! You're both so close to each other!" But some major logistics have to come together just so and the stars need to align with the complicated plans that many of us have. And it's now probably harder to be spontaneous if you're afraid you may miss a FP+! But I'm really hoping to make at least a few happen no matter what! :thumbsup2

That's the thing...re: DisMeets...if it isn't in the big "plan" before you get to the parks...might be a challenge...one I'd be up for of course...but I'm sure it isn't as easy as it sounds!! Definitely worth it though because before even meeting you know you have something BIG in common with these people!!

Hi Tracy! *waves* I'm Rebecca and woo hoo I've caught up with your report! :D Crystallized ginger and sea sick bands truly are what got me through the first 6 months of my pregnancies, I'm picking up both before our next trip to the World. ;) Also sipping ginger beer helped, but I'm not sure how easy that is to find in Orlando.

My husband and I are Game of Throne's fans! You looked stunning and the I'll bet the night was wonderful! Congrats on your little niece!

I've been on one solo trip-thus far in life- a friend was turning 40 (I'll soon follow) and we all met up in Vegas, but I had my own room! It was fantabulous and I have 0 fears of solo travel now! I will happily travel solo again! :D

I'm pretty curious to see the Peoplemover everyone is talking about! I'm in a wheelchair and have never gotten to try it. :) It's very cool to get a chance to see those things through others eyes though!
Faves...
Park: Epcot always has been but I think MK may give it a run for the money this time!
Ride: Kali River Rapids, Pirates of the Caribbean, Soarin', and at DL Indiana Jones Adventure!
Character: Rapunzel, Ariel, Mulan, Belle, and Stitch!
Restaurant: Tokyo Dining, Teppan Edo, Sanaa! :D My family loves all 3!

Following along and looking forward to reading about your upcoming trip! :goodvibes:

I had a very Disney week this week! First off, my MagicBand arrived!!! :jumping1:
:dogdance::dancer::woohoo: Yay for Magicbands!
I’ve signed up for a three night course for first-time homebuyers :scared1:
Funny you should mention that... DH and I spent the day considering the same thing! Little MIss had big fun exploring model homes. :rotfl:

Secondly, my grandmother bought us tickets to see Beauty and the Beast at a theater about 30 minutes away – it was amazing!!!
:lovestruc Oh you lucky duck! This is a bucket list thing for me! I so badly want to see it!

Hi Rebecca!!! :wave2: And :welcome:First off, please know that you've been making my day before even writing this! I've been loving all the likes - thanks!!! :goodvibes So happy to read about another success with the ginger and sea sick bands! :thumbsup2

My husband and I are Game of Throne's fans! You looked stunning and the I'll bet the night was wonderful! Congrats on your little niece!
Awww, you're so sweet - thank you! The night was truly amazing!
Thanks! She's just so precious I can hardly stand it!!! :cutie:

Solo travel is so freeing, isn't it?! I love every minute of it. But I have to say this: are you sure you're pushing 40?! You look way younger than that!!! ::yes::

I'm pretty curious to see the Peoplemover everyone is talking about! I'm in a wheelchair and have never gotten to try it. :) It's very cool to get a chance to see those things through others eyes though!
Doesn't the Peoplemover have wheelchair accessible ride vehicles? I sure hope so because you need to experience that! I hope you can on your next trip :goodvibes

I love all your faves except I haven't eaten at any of those three restaurants - but I want to! especially Sanaa! ::yes::

Following along and looking forward to reading about your upcoming trip! :goodvibes:
So happy to have you here, Rebecca! I can't wait to share my TR!!!

:dogdance::dancer::woohoo: Yay for Magicbands!
If getting these babies doesn't scream "your trip is almost here!" I don't know what does! :lmao:

Funny you should mention that... DH and I spent the day considering the same thing! Little MIss had big fun exploring model homes. :rotfl:
Well, look at that! Wise minds think alike, huh?! ::yes::

:lovestruc Oh you lucky duck! This is a bucket list thing for me! I so badly want to see it!
It really was amazing - you absolutely must do it! I've seen the Broadway version too and this was right up there with quality. :thumbsup2

Sanaa was one of our most beloved dining experiences last time! My husband and daughter demanded it be added again this year! lol. Our son does not remember it but he was 5, so that makes sense. :) The cuisine was a mix of Indian, North African, with a touch of Thai flavors as well, just divine! *hug* I'll write more later we're off to get out of the house for my 1st time in a week, and we're headed to the Disney Store! *giggles*

I know, right?!?!?!? It's like we're all long-lost friends that need to meet!!! :goodvibes

It's so true!! It is so funny how the people around here start to feel like real friends so quickly!! I was on the boards for a while a few years ago...and then kind of dropped off...and am now back of course...but I feel like everyone is so friendly and welcoming and whether you're talking just Disney or not, they always have great advice and input.

Hooray for receiving your magic band! :woohoo: I'm SO STINKING EXCITED to get mine! :goodvibes

Good luck on booking your next trip! I'm sure you'll make the right decision on dates.

I sure hope we can connect on Saturday the 23rd - it would be great to meet you! :flower:

Yay, Magic Bands! I love when those arrive!

And that little Minnie journal is so cute! I sometimes think about bringing a journal to take TR notes, but I end up doing it all in my phone, I don't think I'd have the time to really sit and write in a journal, but I wish I did!

I hope you get to book your next trip soon, it's always so much fun to think about when you want to go next, and then actually book the trip! :cool1:

Sanaa sounds like the perfect blend of cuisines - yum!!! Yay! I hope your trip to the Disney store was awesome! :thumbsup2

Thanks!!! I'm excited to book the next trip... now if only they'd officially make the Free Dining announcement...

We've definitely got to connect on the 23rd!!! :goodvibes

I know!!! I keep m MagicBand somewhere that I can see it all the time

Isn't the journal adorable?! :goodvibes It'll definitely inspire me to keep it out and take lots of good notes :thumbsup2 Taking notes on your phone is a great idea - I often do that on other's TRs and PTRs as I read through.

Yay magic bands!!!!

I went to our theater in downtown Cleveland this past Saturday to watch beauty and the beast! My 2nd time seeing it in 3 years, still wonderful!

Geez! I'm tired just reading about your weekend!! Haha

So I am finally caught up - Been under the weather! So excited that your trip is fast approaching and that you received your MB! Sounds like you have had a busy week and hope you enjoyed seeing Beauty and the Beast - It is such an awesome play. Love the notebook and glad that you are getting all your nausea remedies ready for your trip! Also thanks for joining me on my PTR, I finally updated that today as well! Looking forward to hearing about your final plans. :jumping3:

Yay for getting your MB!! :cheer2: and that notebook is super adorable. SO jealous that you're already planning your next trip!!

I may not get back here before I leave, so a quick fly by. I was exhausted reading what you had going on. :faint:

YAY for your Magic Band. I hope the ginger helps. And I hope you have lots of DIS meets.

Yay!!! So happy to hear that you saw Beauty and the Beast, too! That production is just amazing. :goodvibes
 I'm exhausted already and it's only Tuesday! But tonight is my one night home this week so I've made a list with about 18 million to-dos on it! :rotfl:

Awww, sorry to hear that you've been under the weather - hopefully you're back to 100% now! :goodvibes My trip really is fast approaching and I'm getting nervous as this week is just craziness (as you already pointed out) and there's still so much left to be done! :scared1: I received my shipment yesterday for the anti-nausea meds so that was very exciting!!! Excited to keep following along on your PTR as well! :thumbsup2

Yay for getting your MB!! :cheer2: and that notebook is super adorable. SO jealous that you're already planning your next trip!!
When the MB arrives, it really means the trip is close! :hyper: If not for my USAir voucher, I'm not sure I'd make the commitment for shelling out so much money for another trip so soon... but that voucher is just burning a hole in my pocket! :rotfl:

YAY for your Magic Band. I hope the ginger helps. And I hope you have lots of DIS meets.
Thanks, Kathy!!! I can't believe how soon you leave! I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful time!!! :goodvibes

@Tracy161 are you decorating your MagicBand? :) What is the first thing you plan to do at Disney? Which park will you go to on your 1st day? :D

Oh yes the Disney Store was a blast! There was a find the Avengers game that my son played there, and we did a little shopping. Disney tees were on sale for like 8$ so we got couple. Then Hot Topic also was having a sale on licensed Disney merch. so that was a blast as well. I even picked up a Stitch iPhone cover for 6$ lol. Sorry to babble!

The Disney bug has bit this family hard lol! Oh we've decided to try the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater and I'm stoked, as you said it was it is your favorite restaurant!

How is all of your prep going? *sending good travel wishes* ~ Rebecca p.s. thanks for the nice comment, I promise I'm just about 40, and it is surreal lol. ;)

I’ve signed up for a three night course for first-time homebuyers :scared1:

That's cool I had no idea they had a workshop for first time homebuyers! We probably should have done one of these before we bought our first home.

Also, you had a TON of 'pluses' in your paragraph, good grief! Such a busy, yet fun filled week you have.

I had a very Disney week this week! First off, my MagicBand arrived!!! :jumping1:

Yay! Getting close!

This was absolutely amazing! The cast was phenomenal and the whole night was just awesome. I can't say enough about it. :goodvibes

Aw, glad you liked the show!

Super cute and great idea.

4. Figure out approximately where other Disers will be and when so I can make some Dismeets happen! I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on @Dugette thanks to her awesome daily plan updates :thumbsup2

I hope you're able to meet up with Dugette, Dug and Izzy!! :goodvibes

Hmmm... I hadn't planned on decorating my MagicBand but so many Disers do and I'm so blown away by their creativity! Once I survive this crazy week, I'll have to see what I might be able to pull together next week. The first thing I plan on doing is hitting up F&G at Epcot! I'll eventually be doing a day-to-day plan update... but not until next week. :rotfl:

Glad you had fun at the Disney store! :thumbsup2 Woohoo! Sounds like you made some great Disney purchases!

YAY!!! So glad you're going to give Sci-Fi a go, I'm obsessed with that place, as you already know.

Prep is at a stand-still until Sunday afternoon :sad2: And it's making me really anxious! I just want to do Disney things!!! :rotfl:

That's cool I had no idea they had a workshop for first time homebuyers! We probably should have done one of these before we bought our first home.

Yep, and the workshop has been great! I had my second night last night but got home WAY too late from it! Worth it though, but sheesh... I'm so ready for this week to be over!

I'm definitely planning on seeing Dugette (and possibly the rest of the crew)! :thumbsup2 It's so funny how difficult it can be to coordinate schedules. But thankfully Dugette has been amazing at laying out her day to day plans so I at least have been able to see where we overlap!

Wooo! Busy week is right! But it sounds like you've got a lot of fun in there so that's great.
So close to your trip, man... why didn't I plan a spring trip??
YAY for Magic Bands! I wish they shipped to Canada. I don't get mine until I'm at the check in desk.
