So... here we are to the starting day of our *Let's do it again*.... i think you remember we had such an infortunate trip on December because my mum fell and broke her elbow and pulled a muscle on a leg so we decided to give it another try and booked again for april... and now here we are!!

We left Pisa ta 9 and arrived in Orly at 10.30, perfectly on time, got our luggae in a while and went to meet our shared shuttle booked with RS transport.

Now, he was waiting for us in a different place he was supposed to and seemed pretty upset when after about ten mins he met us, anyway the transfert went smoothly and we were at Dream Castle in about 45 mins.

Check in was pretty long even though the receptionist (Hugo) was extremely friendly and helpful, he told us the room would had been ready around 3 and so we left our luggages and headed to the park with a stop at Earl of Sadwinch for a quick meal before the magic. BTW, we ate a mushroom soup that was very very good.

I expected it to be busy (i knew french kids were on holiday) but it was pretty corwded and this i have to say caused me aome anxiety because of my mum... silly i know but please bear with me.

First thing we saw was Minnie's train, pretty similar to the one we saw for the 20th anniversary but anyway still nice to see...

SAM_2842_zps53x0hxgh.jpg
we followed it for a while then decided to go to It's a small world and bumped into suzy and perla and got a picture with suzy :)

After we bumped into Mickey Minnie Donald and Daisy getting ready for the garden party,

SAM_2865_zpso8gy4ykg.jpg

SAM_2863_zpsoamrpwxs.jpg

decided to give it a miss that time because it was already pretty crowded so it was time for Pirates,

20150412_152334_zpsicwwxjoa.jpg

tried BTM but the queue was too long so went to Haunted Mansion instead, the my mum fancied a boat ride on Molly Brown and eventually it was time for the parade.

As always the parade was nice and catching, i was pretty surprised to hear they had recycled Magic Everywhere for the parade, then we started feeling tired so decided to go to Lucky Nugget for a meal (fish and chips for both)

and then back to the Hotel.

Our room (5057) was on the fifth floor, pretty spacious even if i have to say not too clean, and in the forthcoming days cleaning was always an issue... not to ruin our holiday but not even as required for a 4 stars hotel …

A shower and in bed early as we had had a long day...

Great first day, I was so pleased that all went well this trip. Those fish and chips look nice, haven't been in the LN since it swapped from the buffet. You had fabulous weather makes the Spring decorations look wonderful :)

TBH it was too hot at times lol, you'll see the next days :flower1:
I had not been eatong at LN since it was still a character meal, i can tell you now it's a cosy place where you can relax without spendiang a fortune... and that's not bad :thumbsup2

Lovely first day and fab photos. I look forward to reading the rest of your trip :)

Great start Giuly. Did you have a show at Lucky Nugget? Can't wait to read more. :goodvibes

Thanks ladies :goodvibes:goodvibes

No Anne, no show at the Lucky Nugget for us but we were there pretty early, about 6.15 just after the parade so it must have been on later i suppose...

Here we are to day two...

we set our alarm clock for 7

– here is a view of the sunrise from our window

and went down for breakfast around 7.30, a good time as just a few people were there and so we had not probems in getting a table.

Breakfast was a good selection of brioche, pain au chocolate, bread slices under a toaster - that looked pretty old and in need of new one BTW – jam, choc spread, honey, fruit salad, cold meat, cheese and scrambled eggs (IMO they tasted pretty awful but it could had been me) bacon (very good), sausages, potatoes and beans.

At 8 am we were ready to catch the shuttle for the park. Forgot to say the day before we boths had decided our shoes were too wintery for the weather and had bought ourselves new trainers...

Got into the main park and bumped into Donald Duck so decided to queue for a snap with him

SAM_2911_zps36bgmmet.jpg

SAM_2914_zpsraeevqsd.jpg

then went into Fantasyland to ride Carouslef of Lancelot, Pinocchio and try Peter Pan (queue already very long so decided to give it a miss), walked around Adventureland and i went on Indiana Jones, then decided to move to the Studios. On the way there i got myself a wonderful pair of glittery Minnie Ears...

First thing there we joined the single rider queue for Ratatouille and were on in about ten mins, then i got myself a fastpass for ToT and RnR coaster and then heard the Stars and Cars mini parade was to start so we joined the people in Toon Square. Characterswe were interesetd in there were Minnie and Remi and Emile but we were unlucky and just got a picture with the Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh and Jessie from Toy Story.

Cast Member said they were going to come back at 1 pm and so before using my fastpass tried again and this time we got another snap with Donald.

We had booked Chez Remy for 2.30 and so wandered around for a while and then went there..

The restaurant looks lovely and the waiters friendly and helpful, food pretty good but for the steak that was a little too hard, we had chosen cheese and fruit bread instead of a puddign and were not disappointed. A bit pricey as everywhere else in DLRP but would be very happy to go back there.

Another look around the shops then decided to go and try to use our voucher for Panoramagique.

It was our first time there but we both enjoyed it very much, it goes high but the weather was so wonderful we did not feel to dance at all.

Back to the main park, a few rides again (Iasm was a walk in as others were watching the parade...)

and then decided to treat ourselves to a Glowtini and a small tray of macaroons at Fantasia Cafe.

We were pretty tired then and for tuesday we had decided to spend the day in Paris so back to the DC for an early night...

Day three started as the previous one but our plan today was heading to Paris so we went to the gare and got the RER to Paris... our first stop being the Pere Lachaise cemetery to visit Jim Morrison's tomb...

SAM_2998_zps2gnux44d.jpg

Then we got the Metro for heading the town center... Paris is always Paris and the day was gorgeous...temperature went up to around 24 C, blue sky... what could we ask for more?

20150414_105747_zpsibgjtk3w.jpg

It was Louvre for us, we had lunch at the Le Carousel Du Louvre, then a bit of shopping around the area and back to the Metro to go to Notre Dame... stunning as usual!!

Then we wandered around the Latin Quarter (got myself a fake furry multicolour hat for next winter lol), had something to drink at Starbuck's and then decided to go back to the Opera to have a llok at the shops in that area …

Printemps e Lafayette are wonderful places but just for window shopping. - unless you have 25,000 euros spare to spend in a tiffany ring lol..but in a couple of small shops there i got myself a dress for a theatre night i will attend next May 4th and a pair of flat ballerina shoes to rest my poor boiling feet..

As we were pretty tired we looked out for a place to eat... we both fancied escargot but were unable to find a restaurant that had them so ate salmon and a wonderful ice cream.

IMG_6340_zpsbazygokw.jpg

Will mention the bottle of water that costed me 6.90 euros just to remind me how stupid i was...

IMG_6341_zpskfjcmzew.jpg

After dinner we really forced ourselves back to the RER station to go back to the hotel....mind you we were so shattered we got a taxi from the Gare to the Hotel because we could not stand to wait for the shuttle LOL

Another 2 busy days, beautiful photos of Paris. I would love to go back and spend some time there

Yes Paris is worth more than one day to spend there, maybe next time three full days here and three in DLRP :cheer2:

Fab TR! What amazing weather you had! I love all your Donald pics, you look so happy :flower1: Look forward to reading more.

Wedsnesdayw as a very early sart as we had booked our trip to Mont St. Michel and really looked forward to go there...

One step ahead... thanks to Carrie Cat i had a few links to check for booking a day trip there, i first chose one as they said they could pick up at the hotel for 29 euros each both ways but when i tried to book it said 95 each person. So i sent an email and was said the person i had spoken to the first time was wrong and it would had costed me 190 euros for the two of us. Panic as it seemed me way too much.

Checked the RER but even though it was doable it seemed too tiring...so checked and checked and eventually found Always shuttle that was 120 euros both ways.

So back to wednesday morning... we were in the hall ten mins before 6 and the driver was already there with a posh private car.... wow

Trip to Paris took about 45 mins (Paris City Vision starts next to the Louvre) and we were there perfectly on time..and at 7.15 the bus left to our destination...

The trip takes about 4 hours, half an hour more as we stopped for a we and a coffee on the way to Mont St Michel, so we got there before midday.

We had booked the unguided tour so we were given the tickets to the abbey, some advices about timing and how to get there and then here we are!!

20150415_153452_zps4cenzmoc.jpg

What could i say? It's one of the most stunning place i have ever seen but please be warned you had to walk up hundreds of steps and – if you like us are lucky enough to be there on a very sunny and warm day – it's pretty tiring.

20150415_151907_zps6ee0jzfl.jpg

Before starting going up anyway we stopped for a quick meal (Mont St. Michel omelette is the local typical dish but hey i have eaten better things in my life for 15 euros each...)

SAM_3040_zpspon4q7ts.jpg

The view from up there is stunning, shame there was not any sign of tide that day but anyway you can see from the pics it was fantastic...

On way back we HAD to stop for a crepe and then went back to the bus as it was time to go..

We got back to Paris on time, we caught a lovely peek at the Eiffel Tour by bus,

SAM_3086_zpsybs1dt7a.jpg

i had sent the shuttle driver a text message so he was there waiting for us and everything went smoothly, we even had a peek at Dreams on way back …. we had already planned to stop for Dreams the day after and now we were even more excited about it...

Catching up Giulia - loving your TR. I was at St Michael's Mount in Cornwall a few years ago and would love to go see the one in France. Good for you for venturing so far on a Disney trip - I've never even been on the train into Val de Europe.
How fabulous was your weather? Looking forward to more. :goodvibes

Oh it was a long day, just like the one in Paris but really really worth every minute of it!! :thumbsup2

Day 4 started with a blast....as we were woken up at 5 am by the fire alarm ringing.

Now to be honest it took a while to me to realize, then i opened the door and saw some people walking by... i stupidly asked what was going on and the answer was nothing you just need to ring the reception. And i did but no one answered the phone so we wore a jacket on our nightwears and went down.

Now i know that you should not use a lift during a fire alarm but we were not able to find the stairs, now i wonder if i was not able to see then because the fire lock doors were closed but anyway we had to go down via lift, the reception was incedibly full with people... half dressed in nighties as us, half completely dressed and i wodner how this could be possible... do they sleep all dressed up??

Anyway it took about ten mis to be told it was a false alarm and someone had been smoking in its room... so we were sent back in our rooms. Of course the lifts were pretty busy and it took a while to come back, with us there was another family (mum, dad, two kids and grandmother), we had a look at us in the mirror and started laughing as we looked pretty silly lol

Back into our room … we managed to sleep another hour and a half and then decided we needed a big breakfast to mend up the night..

IMG_6347_zpshzm83b1q.jpg

.and then headed to the park...

I really wanted a photo with Thumper and Mrs Bunny so we decided to walk around, did some rides with actually no queue at all and then queued for the happiest bunnies in the world!!

At 9.30 we were about 10th in queue, Thumper and Mrs Bunny arrived a few mins after ten and were absolutely amazing with their interaction, they spent time with everyone, we got a few lovely snaps with them.

had something to eat and then moved to the studios.. Crush was a long waiting time again, so did Ratatouille again. Studio Tram tour and the ToT and RnC as queue was 15 and 5 mins each.

A bit of shopping, some sightseeing and then went to Plaza Garden … i really looked foward to it but hey it came out to be disappointing... location is still great but food selection pretty poor and quality not so good....price was 85 euro for both of us, including a glass of wine (8 euro each),

After dinner we walked a bit around,

IMG_6402_zpss4s0dtsu.jpg

then decided to find a place to watch dreams (not far form plaze garden - and wait there, shame many many people came in front of us and when the show started, we could hardly see anything as quite a few lifted kids on their shoulders. Now, i understand they are little and want to see but we had been there for about two hours and had to move and find another place to catch some bits of the show....
