DVC Member site experiencing technical issues this morning

Our 7 month window opened today for Thanksgiving week. All was looking good at 8am the resort was available all nights, but couldn't confirm. Just kept trying till member services opened. Called member services @ 9 nothing they could do, system Issues should be resolved at 10. I kept at it checking availability, adding the resort. The stress and finally @ 9:30 I was able to get through the entire reservation process! A bit frustrating, but in the end Poly for Thanksgiving!
 
Very interesting, because I called at the same time you did and there were no system issues. It makes you wonder why and how that works.
 
Seems this glitch is not an isolated incident. I have seen a couple of posts here regarding similar booking issues. I did take some screenshots of the error screens. I will forward these to MS.
 


This afternoon I attempted 4 times to add a waitlist and it kept bouncing me out. It's really getting to be quite ridiculous.
 
I'm trying to book Easter week next year and the site is all messed up this morning. Grrrr.....
 
Yep, couldn't get in this morning either. Page filled with errors. Sadly, I get excited now when it does work because it seems rare to have it work and normal to have it not work. Tried to book my 180+10 ADRs yesterday and just like my last 5 trips it won't let me do it online. It shows my reservation and the dates are shaded in, but does a refresh after I select my date and times. Yes, I know I can all, but prefer to do it online. Last month when making my September ADRs, I did them at the 170 days so I could do them all at one time. Now the free dining dates have been released this morning, so really wanted to get some of the harder ones and the availability will be tighter.
 


I know DVC member site has been having issues on and off for a while now but today specifically might be related to the release of free dining for the fall-seems like all the websites run off the same server or are somehow interconnected b/c when one gets overwhelmed seems to also cause issues on the other sites-I seem to recall all the sites having similar issues in feb when BOG lunch reservations opened up for 6 months all at once

That happened to me Saturday. I thought I had an ad blocker causing it. And now this morning I am getting error pages for everything. :crazy:

Me too, I thought it was on my end, but apparently not. I thought they were working on this...? Guess it's a more pervasive issue than they realized.

Same here! They're also releasing the exclusive DVC Alex & Ani bracelet today, and of course you can only buy it through the site, which has been down for me most of the morning now. Beyond frustrating!

Hope that you were MORE successful than me with the Alex and Ani bracelet. At 11:30 down no link. Here it is 1:40 tried several times...Get onto member log in, then directed to Member marketplace. Put in quantity, color, then add to bag, NOTHING! REALLY:rolleyes1??????:sad2: MS said a lot of people on website trying to purchase?:goodvibes HUGE problems with MDE early this morning trying to book dining because of Free dining promo...Now this? NOT GREAT!:scared1::mad:
 
I was successful in buying one but boy did it take a VERY FRUSTRATING 30 minutes to even get on the site! There was no link from 11:30-11:40 then it went down for the next 20 minutes. Wait time for online chat was 58 MINUTES!! Hit another glitch at check-out, it wouldn't accept a Disney gift card no matter how many times/ways I tried it. I was beyond frustrated at that point & knew if I backed out to try & start over I might never get back in, so I just went ahead & purchased it without using it, but I emailed them right away to see if they could catch it in time & apply the gift card. I figured it was worth a try since I had saved that GC specifically for this bracelet. I would LOVE to have a survey sent to me regarding this! Totally unacceptable!
 
We are new to DVC, just got our membership last Friday. Is it always this difficult to get on the member website? Also, what are Alex and Ani bracelets?

The major fall free dining offer was released today (DVC members don't get free dining). Demand is slowing down the entire Disney IT-verse.

It's not normally this bad.

The Alex and Ani bracelets are inexpensively made with a wire type bracelet and charm with you fav charater, resort, park, etc. I took off 2/23 when they were offered for the first time this year. It was a special DVC bracelet. I logged on at 11:30 and the system went down immediately. I spent 20 minutes trying to log on again. I had a computer, Ipad and phone with MS on hold when I finally got through. Bought one bracelet in each color and got the heck out. It sold out in two hours. I think the system was overcrowded today which should not happen. You can find other Alex and Ani bracelets online at the Disney Store. They run about 40$ and I am pleased with mine. I knew what to expect since I looked at them in person last trip. They help remind me why I work everyday...to enjoy the experience...headed back Friday..woot woot
 
Minor gripe and I should have the info but I requested a points activity statement dating back to 2009. The response I got back:
