I've been to Disney many times, stayed onsite a few times, but have never done
DDP, free or not.
I have a few questions...
1. I have an active AP that will still be in effect for the assumed free dining period this fall. My understanding is that I will still need to buy a ticket (maybe a 2-day base) in order to purchase the free DDP package. Correct?
2. Assuming the previous is correct, when I go to the park, I should make sure it is my AP getting me in and not the package ticket. Is this something I can change on my own in
MDE or do I need to stop at Guest Relations before entry (or make a call to tech support)?
3. Also, my DW does not have an AP. When purchasing the package, can we purchase different ticket types...for example, a 5 day park hopper for her and the 2 day base for me? (If not, I suppose I could hold on to a 5 day ph for me and upgrade it later to an AP)
4. Even though I do not have a trip booked yet, I've gone ahead and made ADR's. Does it make any difference that I've done that before purchasing the package? (I would think not)
