Hi all,
we got home last night (or should say this morning lol ) at 1 am after a wonderful 5 days trip with many highs and a few lows... :jumping1:
We have spent a whole day in Paris and been able to see Mont St Michael another - thanks Carrie Cat for your advices we chose the non guided tour offered by Paris City Vision and were not disappointed. Plus Mont St Michael is just stunning so it was a great day.

HIGHS:
wonderful weather, more than spring i would had called it summer, up to 26°c in certain days, blue skies and sun what could we ask for more?:beach:

the spring look of the park, even if i have to say it can't compare with the Christmas look, is lovely and so are the shows:flower1:

Panoramagique - finally we were able to use our Groupon voucher and it was great to see the park from up there

Thumper and Miss Bunny are just cute and have a great interaction with everyone

TBH i can't think of more highs because most of the trip was a *high*

LOWs

the park being pretty busy (expecially on sunday and monday) with loads of kids and teens without any control i am sorry to say, pushing, running and bumping into people without even noticing it :earseek:, now i might have been a little *over excited* about my mum being hurted and fall again but anyway i think it would be better to pay more attention on the others wouldn't it?

Not being able to ride Crush because of the queue being ALWAYS over 60 mins:sad:, it's the only ride where the single riders queue is longer than the *normal* one... fastpass needed i think

Dream Castle... non really a low but anyway it was not as good as the other time we were there, the room was not so clean and the bed always made *somehow*, not really the standard of a 4 stars hotel

Food in Plaza Garden.. i was so looking forward to go there but it was pretty disappointing... not much choice and the quality was not excellent, shame.

Trip report to follow, i have hundreds of photos to sort out LOL

yey that does sound much much nicer than your previous DLP experience - and yes please to a trip report with lots of photos.

Welcome back and so glad this trip made up for the last one! :) Nice you had good weather too. Sorry you missed out on Crush - I've only been on it a few times and don't like it but am amazed the single rider queue is longer than the ordinary one. You'll have to plan for it next time! Looking forward to the photos. :goodvibes

Glad your trip was better than last time. I agree Mont St Michel is beautiful x

Glad the bubble wrap worked ;) and that you had a lovely trip this time

Welcome back Giulia. I've enjoyed seeing your photos on facebook and am delighted that your return trip was better than your last. Look forward to reading your TR. :)

Thanks to you all ladies, i am still sorting out the pics but i promise i will write my trip report asap :thumbsup2

Did you go to Mont St. Michel just for the day? I really want to go, but it seems like a very long time on the train for just a few hours...

Yes we did, but we joined an organized non guided tour with ParisCityVision for the price of 125 euros each. The worst part is they leave at 7.15 am next to Louvre and you have to be there at least half an hour before, so you have two choices: take the Rer around 5.45 (Carrie Cat correct me if i am wrong please lol) get off at Chatelet and change for the Metro to Louvre Rivoli (and then back at night of course) or book a private transfer as we did for 60 euros each one both ways.
The trip to MsM takes about 4 hours and a half (with a *technical* stop in between) then you have about 4 hours to explore the place and leave around 4.30 to be back in Paris around 9.15 - with another *technical* stop during the way back.
We found it doable and not too tiring but as i said we chose the private transfer because thought it would had been too hard to get to Paris and back by ourselves

Loved following your trip on FB, really made me want to be there. So glad it went well for you both this time :)

Thanks Jill, we had a wonderful time really. When are you coming to Italy? I have not forgotten you will be in my region :Pinkbounc:Pinkbounc

Glad you had a better trip this time. Shame you didn't get to ride Crush. We alays make sure we get to the Studios gates before opening a few times on our trips so that we can ride it first thing. They did a trial for having FP for Crush a few years ago and they decided, for whatever reason, that the ride was not suitable for it. I also agree it is a shame about Plaza Gardens going downhill. We used to always eat there for our final meal before coming home, but we too think it has gone hownhill recently so we no longer do this.

Yeah it would had been clever to be there at WDS opening, i even tried shortly before the closure but it was still very very long queue. SHame as in december it was 15 mins for the single riders and 60 for the normal one, i think many people must have decided to go solo lol

So glad everything went so much better this time. I was hoping it would be a success.
Thats a pity about the Dream Castle. Would you be inclined to return again? And the kids pushing and forgetting their manners is something that would irritate me too. Manners are free!!
Looking forward to reading your TR :flower1:
Thanks for sharing :)

Tbh i don't know if i would stay there again or not, i mean the hotel is not completely bad but the cleaness was a real issue, not just in our room but all around, you could see dust in the armours at the reception too...:sad2:

Brillant news :jumping1:

I am so pleased that you had such a great time and that the Mont St Michel trip went so well :cheer2:

Look forward to reading the TR and seeing the photos :jumping1:

Yay!! Glad you had a great time. I haven't been to Mont St Michel (although I've been to the English version in Cornwall) but would love to - and although it was a long tiring day I'm glad it was worth it. :)
