Staying for two days before going to the YC for two days. Any reviews, opinions, or comments on the Gaylord.

It's really large and is really expensive. Resort fee, parking fee, expensive food at restaurants. Upside is a pool renovation recently and it is amazing to walk around inside.

Loved staying here and would stay again~ keep in mind, it's a convention resort and may be busy if there is a large convention going on while you are there. Adjust your expectations accordingly. My only complaint is that if you don't want a sit down meal, the options are very limited. There is a quick grab place/Starbucks with limited options, but not really a 'counter service' option for a fast real meal. We actually brought back Earl of Sandwich from Downtown Disney one day to save for dinner. We ate at the pool bar/restaurant (CRAZY long waits and poor service) but the food was really good. We also ate at Villa de Flora for the Shrek breakfast buffet which was awesome. So many lovely food choices and it was delicious. Way better than any Disney breakfast buffet. (We've literally done them all.) If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to try to answer them. Wishing you a great stay!
