Hi all! We are taking an 18-night trip to France in September. Our second stop includes 4 nights at the New York hotel at DLP. It will be my husband, our 3 year old daughter, and myself. I have been trying to make a list of rides I CAN'T ride, and a list of ones I can, as well as my DD. DLPGuide website has been very helpful, but I wanted to ask here.

this is the list of rides I believe I definitely cannot ride:

Indiana Jones
Autopia
Space
RnRC
Crush's
Big Thunder
Star Tours
Tower of terror
RC Racer

Unsure about:
Pirates (it says Expectant mothers should not ride, but is this like the Safari which I could ride at my own risk?)
Parachute Drop?
Ratatouille? There was no info here on restrictions but I am hoping I can ride this!
Tea cups? not sure if there is a restriction on this one either, though I prob won't want to do it anyway!
Cars Quatre Roues Rallye?
Slinky dog ride?

Think I can do:
Buzz
It's a small world
Peter Pan
Phantom's Manor
Carrousel
Snow White
Casey Jr
Orbitron
Pinocchio
Le Pays de Contes de Fees - like storyland at DL
studio tram tour
flying carpets

Explore:
Adventure isle
Alice's labrynth
Robinson treehouse
Sleeping beauty art display in castle
dungeon
Aladdin walkthrough
nautilus walkthrough
play areas - Pocahontas, pirates
art of animation
cinemagique
moteurs action stunt show
animagique
Disney junior live
Stitch live

Lastly - my ADR plans include:

Walt's dinner 1st night
Auberge au Cendrillon lunch (this could be any meal though)
Chez Remy lunch
Inventions dinner
Café Mickey breakfast
Manhattan Diner

Would love input on these meals & suggestions for your must-do restaurants if they aren't on my list! Thank you SO much!

He I've just got back with my family and the list of what you can't go on is actually ALOT longer!
The top list yes you are right also here are some more,
Pirates
Phantom manor
Pinocchio
Snow White
Peter Pan
Flying carpets
Tea cups
Ratatouille
Casey jr
Parachute drop
Also cars ride
Slinky dog ride
Anything with a bar that comes down so most rides!

I had a chat with cast members while waiting for my family at pirates as I had made a point not to go on anything that suggested not too, and they strongly frown on anyone going against the health and safety rules that they have put in place and I wouldnt risk it at all but that's me. I'm nearly half way with an abvious bump and got a pink pass for the rides I was allowed on, that allows one other person with you and that helped with going on rides with my DD aged 5.
I do think DLP need to update their info I thought I could go on more until I got there and got a list from city hall.

Xx

Oh my goodness, really?! So um, what CAN you go on? Now were those additional ones above absolutely can not do's (such as, the CM will not let me on) or suggestions? I understand the lap bar, but heck sitting next to my DH and the lap bar won't be even touching me with his belly.

Where did you get the pink pass, and what rides was it for? Because there isn't much left after your additional list :( so glad I have 4 whole days there now. :(

I went on buzz lots, small
World, story book ride - carousel and of course anything that's walk Through. Cast members will not let you on - I asked the reason at phantom manor as I expected to be able to go on and she said definitely not and nothing else with a bar anywhere in both parks. Pink pass was from city hall took a doctors note too and my notes, but the cast member said I didn't need it as it was obvious I was pregnant - she took all our park passes to write on them that they could be used with mine to go Through the disabled access and basically skip the whole queue, I was told on booking to get one as they would rather pregnant women go through the disabled access so they don't wait in lengthy queues while they are
Visiting. I had lots of fun on the little rides with our DD and our neice and nephew Xx

Interesting they wouldn't let you ride. Other reports I've uncovered seem that the cast members don't say anything (at least on tame rides such as Peter pan and pirates). I guess it will be hit or miss for me. Thank you for your experience.

Thanks both for all this info! We're doing a one day visit this May and I'll be 30 weeks pregnant! Interesting how little I'll be able to go on, but so be it! disney_rocks - getting the pink pass wasn't an issue then? And it got you to the front of the few rides you were allowed on? Did you try any meet and greets?

C x

No the pink pass was no problem at all and I was told I could switch between People too. Didn't try the meets this time round as we did character dinning but it's worth a try. Yeah I was Surprised and the little amount of rides but it's only for safety so I totally understand - as the cast member on pirates said to me after a chat about other people trying to go On while pregnant - is a few rides worth the risk of such a precious life?! Xx

That's crazy if they don't let you on PM, Ratatouille or Buzz.

It should be at your discretion in my opinion.

Both are way safer than a car journey....

One more question - is the pink pass good for your length of stay, or do you have to get a new one each day?? Thanks.

I agree. I am not usually one to skirt around safety rules, but I can't wrap my head around being unsafe on Peter Pan.

Im assuming its something to do with the lap bars and the fact the CM pushes it down - they are probably trying to avoid it being pushed too tight against the 'baby'. Also if the ride jerked your body could be pressed against the bar .
A lot of rides advise against riding with certain medical conditions including pregnancy but they always used to be advice not a rule - i suppose they were covering themselves so they couldn't be sued if something did happen as they had advised not to ride

That's strange. I think I did Phantom Manor, Snow White and Casey Jr. 6 months pregnant 4 years ago - no problem at all. The CM didn't say anything. Is it stricter now?
The pink pass is a good thing though. You can use it also at parades, when you're tired and can't stand anymore. They let you in a fenced off area with benches to watch it from there. There is a good view. At least it has been like that 4 years ago...

I agree. I am not usually one to skirt around safety rules, but I can't wrap my head around being unsafe on Peter Pan.

If Peter Pan has to be evacuated in an emergency you need to be able to climb unaided down a ladder to the ground to get out. First time we were there my sister (who is disabled and gets a priority pass) and I went on PP loads, then on our 2nd visit I read about evacuating it and we will never go on it again as she definitely couldn't do that.
