For the first time in like ever I'm going to Disneyland a Nov 14 TR... updated 8/17

That Tee shirt really is cool
The Mickey Mouse one? Yeah I thought so. I think she didn't buy it though because one size was to tight and the next size was really long on her :confused3

Hi Emma,
Just read through everything and joining in. I love all your pictures. We're thinking of Disneyland in 2017 and I'm learning so much through your report. I hope you feel better and congratulations on your award!

Thanks. I am better for now. Just busy atm as the Musical Society i'm in are in the middle of show week.

Anyone still following? Things have been a bit mental the past month between work and musical rehearsals but the musical is all over now until next year so more free time again

I am still here. I am getting seriously behind with my own trip report as well.

Corinna
I haven't looked at anyone's trip report for a month I think. Need to go catch up on everyones report.. First though updates :)

So while I was off doing the musical it was also my 30th birthday. I finally got my beast :lovestruc
IMG_5481_zpshrxftg76.jpg

Speaking of Beasts and musicals anyone that followed my trip reports before will know that a few years ago the musical society did Beauty and the Beast and during this years show week I found out the guy that played our Beast is going to be moving to Orlando and working as a singer in Downtown Disney there soon... I'm not sure whether I'm happy for him or sad I won't hear him sing or just jealous he gets to live near Disney.
Anyway I also got a Frozen birthday cake:
IMG_5520_zpsj7u2wt06.jpg

My sister got me two little Disney Tsum Tsums
IMG_5497_zpsvit0cfuq.jpg

I also got monies so got me an Olaf traditions figure.. Was in the shop getting him and the guy behind the counter tried to "teach" me about Disney parks. I launched into a history of whatever he was talking about and well he looked like an alien had landed in his shop :rotfl2: Guess he wasn't expecting me to know much about the parks :confused3:angel:
For Easter I got more Disney things as well:

Day 6, part 1:
Saturday, 22nd of November.

This morning we got up bright and early and left our castle by 7.30am because we had a Magic Morning hour to use.

IMG_3362-001_zpsqvmdd9xa.jpg

I was amused along the way by how they had the map of the Anaheim resort on the footpath every so often:

IMG_3363_zpsaxeptchp.jpg

Angel came out for the day with us as well sporting his new Disneyland t-shirt:

IMG_3366_zpsozhotfon.jpg

At 8am we joined the crowd being herded up Main Street and into Fantasyland, stopping at the castle for a few pics:

IMG_3368_zpssbsykged.jpg

IMG_3369_zps6jd4z0ez.jpg

I went and joined the queue for Anna and Elsa fast passes and Momma went to a nearby cart for breakfast. She came back with this:

IMG_3370_zpsy5i70osz.jpg

(On a side note that’s the Mockingjay necklace she got the night before in Downtown Disney)
When Momma came back to me I told her she didn’t need to wait in line she could sit if she wanted and she was like well I want to meet them as well. I was a tiny bit shocked, she never usually comes to the character meet and greets but ok! We got fast passes with the return time of 9.10:
IMG_3371_zpsf3en5chv.jpg

We figured since the return time wasn’t that far away we would hang out in Fantasyland while we waited so once Angel got his picture with Olaf in the background:

IMG_3373_zps5cuqiu88.jpg

We headed for Snow White’s Scary adventures as our first ride of the day:

IMG_3381_zpsbek0ykht.jpg

IMG_3382_zpswa9qibvx.jpg

If we were smarter we would have gone on Peter Pans flight. It had a wait time of 20 minutes where everything else was walk on. We didn’t feel like waiting for anything at that point though so next up we went to Pinocchio’s Daring Journey:

IMG_3416_zpsk0dgkz6y.jpg

Our next ride was Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. By now the park was open so this had a whole 15 minute wait:
IMG_3419_zps1y16muat.jpg

IMG_3420_zps1p5ffax2.jpg

While we were waiting in line I was looking at my crocs and discovered I’d lost a button. I had no memory of when I last saw it whether it was that morning or some other day but Fozzie bear was gone. I was sad because Fozzie bear was one of my favourites. I wanted to go check everywhere we’d been to see if I could find it. Mr. Toad was no longer appealing to me but we stayed:

Our little Moley car:

IMG_3424_zps8qrajdwu.jpg

After Mr. Toad we walked around everywhere in Fantasyland that we had been that morning but there was no sign of Fozzie bear and it was now time to go back to Arendale to meet Anna and Elsa.

So while I was off doing the musical it was also my 30th birthday. I finally got my beast :lovestruc

The Beast is so cute.

I never noticed that.

We got fast passes with the return time of 9.10:

That is a great return time. You managed to get quite a bit done during the early morning admission. What a shame that you lost Fozzie though.

Corinna

The Beast is so cute.
I love him. He's really big as well. Have wanted him for like 3 years now. So happy he's mine finally :goodvibes

I love that cake.
It was from Tesco and quite nice for a store cake.

I never noticed that.
I thought it was handy. I could picture Momma using them alot if she got lost lol

The return time wasn't to bad but we were in line as soon as we got to Fantasyland. I was happy with what we got done while we waited but not about Fozzie. I'm still sad about him :(

Wonderful birthday gifts! I love the Beast. :)

Fun start to your morning. Until I read someone else's TR recently, I never knew there was a Pinocchio ride. I'm sorry you lost your button.

And :woohoo::woohoo: for mom wanting to see Anna and Elsa.

There's a Pinocchio ride in Paris as well. I was sad about losing Fozzie bear, still am.

And :woohoo::woohoo: for mom wanting to see Anna and Elsa.
I know I was shocked. She doesn't normally want to meet the characters.

Sorry I dropped off for a bit...

Love the Birthday cake, looks so cute.

WOW!! - we forgot to ride Mr. Toads Wild Ride..

Day 6, part 2:

So we were heading to Arendale for our Royal reception with Anna and Elsa! Our return time was 9.10 and we were in line at maybe 9.15 ish. There was a lady in front of us holding a place for her family and her return time wasn’t until 9.30 so we waited and waited and I took pictures of the carousel nearby while we waited:

SAM_0721_zpshxq13zzg.jpg

I was looking for the horse with the yellow ribbon on its tail, it was meant to be Lillian Disney’s favourite horse but I never spotted it. Soon we arrived at a CM who was taking fast passes from people and next thing lady who had a return time of 9.30 was told to get out of line and come back at 9.30 that she was not allowed queue early and could only return at the time on the fast pass. So Momma and I went on ahead of her. Even with the fast passes we still waited an hour to get in to see Anna and Elsa but Olaf was on the roof “talking” to everyone which was amusing enough for the time to pass quickly:

He kept saying stuff like, has anyone got any sun lotion I can borrow and admiring people’s shoes then asking people if he could borrow their shoes and saying oh silly me I don’t have any feet, can I borrow your feet. When it was our turn with Anna and Elsa they did take loads of time with you. I was wearing my Olaf t-shirt and of course they loved that:

SAM_0742_zpsomtxaijt.jpg

They chatted for ages, we got loads of pictures and then as we were leaving Anna wished us a safe sleigh ride home! Before we left out of curiosity I check with a CM what time the fast pass return time was at now. This was just after 10am and this stage and the return time being handed out was 7.30pm! Next we wandered over to the Storybook canal boats:

DSCF4062_zpsaurd5vnf.jpg

There was a little bit of a wait so I passed the time taking pictures:

DSCF4063_zpsawftbghf.jpg

Whenever I see this the song Casey Jr starts going in my head:

DSCF4068_zpscmszhdty.jpg

Momma and I were laughing while we waited about how people kept not so discretely trying to check out each others Disney clothing especially if it was anything to do with Frozen and a lot of people kept staring at my chest that day because of my Olaf t-shirt. Soon it was our turn to ride the Storybook boats. We had done these in Paris before and I think they were more interesting in Paris. In Disneyland you start off going through the mouth of the Pinocchio whale:

DSCF4070_zpsiclvt07v.jpg

In Paris that bit is in the middle and it’s Aladdin’s cave instead:

DSCF0138_zps79571846.jpg

The did have more scenes in California that weren’t in Paris though:

DSCF4075_zps8kgv9kjs.jpg

DSCF4078_zpsgnccjiwj.jpg

DSCF4082_zpsovnepcgt.jpg

They were all cute and it was obvious which movie the were out of but in Paris each scene had little characters in the scene like Peter and the Wolf had a little Peter and these were missing from California:

DSCF0136_zps08cc72c2.jpg

I missed the characters a little bit. This was Eric’s Castle in California:

DSCF4092_zpseb1fprua.jpg

And this is the Paris version (spot Eric on the bridge)

DSCF0145_zps652a4393.jpg

It was still a cute little ride though. After that we headed towards Toontown, stopping to admire some of the wreathes of Small World along the way:
DSCF4096_zpsn7uduyjo.jpg

Momma wanted food at this point but there was nothing open yet so I took some pictures while we were waiting for somewhere to open for food:
DSCF4104_zpsild7smt9.jpg

Lookie hidden Mickey:

DSCF4106_zpsdgaymbbx.jpg

Once Pluto’s dog house opened we both got something small to eat. Momma got a kids turkey sandwich meal. I was amused by the fact the sandwich was shaped a bit like a fish:

DSCF4111_zpsaozomepk.jpg

She got loads of little snacks with the meal as well, apple slices, carrot sticks, grapes and a drink:
DSCF4112_zps3ulltua7.jpg

I was boring and got a hot dog and crisps:
DSCF4113_zps2rniyni2.jpg

Once we had a little bit of food in us. I left Momma at the food area and went to meet Miss Minnie Mouse as she only had a 20 minute wait time. Her house was all done up for Christmas as well:

I am glad that they made her step out of the line. On both occasions when I did this, they checked the time on the return ticket before I even got close to the line. An hour was quite a long time to wait.

That is what I call a result. I never got a chance to visit Minnie at Toon Town as the waiting time was always crazy.

Corinna

I was quite surprised when I read this.
She made it known her fast passes weren't until 9.30 but she was going to wait anyway because "by the time she got to the top of the line it would be 9.30?"

I am glad that they made her step out of the line. On both occasions when I did this, they checked the time on the return ticket before I even got close to the line. An hour was quite a long time to wait.
There was a long line waiting to hand over fastpasses to the CM and then she let people in through another barrier. I think the hour wait was because of how long Anna and Elsa were taking with everyone because the line didn't seem that long looking at it. They did spend ages with us when we got in though.

I think the first day we went there at 10am and went to Mickey Mouse first and by the time I came out of Mickey's house the wait for Minnie was 40 minutes so when I saw it at 20 I had to go meet her :)

Day 6, part 3:

So I was heading into Minnie’s House. The queue wanders through her house and you get to check out all her stuff before heading out to meet her:
DSCF4131_zpsmrdu318m.jpg

Her dishwasher came to life:

DSCF4132_zpsyo3ooksk.jpg

Cheese galore in her fridge:

DSCF4134_zpszqrsqpup.jpg

Then you go outside and meet the lady mouse herself… funny though the wait time says 20 minutes but I think the delay in Minnie’s is people stopping to play with her stuff because a CM had to come in to find the next person to meet Minnie as everyone was to busy playing with her stuff while she waited patiently outside:

Lookie her cute little Christmas tree:

DSCF4139_zpsrv9k1hov.jpg

After meeting Minnie we had a bit of time to kill so we wandered into a nearby shop to have a browse:

All those lollipops:

Next it was time to go here:

For Mickey and the Magical Map. Angel was very excited to see his friend Mickey Mouse on stage:

We loved this show. So many characters and awesome Disney music:

After Mickey and the Magical Map we were going to go on Small World but the line was 40 minutes long so we decided not to wait:
DSCF4156_zps0hq6k9ec.jpg

Instead we slowly wandered over in the direction of the next show we wanted to see stopping to take pictures and browse shops here and there as we went:

I have not seen either. Minnie's house looks really neat. I had every intention to see Mickey and Magical Map, but somehow, I did not get around to it. Looks like they both need to go on the to do list for September.
