Annual Pass Upgrade and DVC Discount

Not sure if this is possible....

Late last August in Disney we purchased 4 regular annual passes, before we became DVC members. We are going back this summer, while our current passes are still valid, and would like to utilize the waterparks.

Would we be able to upgrade our regular annual passes, to the DVC PAP? Having the normal non-discounted annual pass cost being credited towards a discounted DVC PAP.

You can upgrade to the DVC Priced PAP by going to any park ticket window or guest relations location at WDW. You would be charged the difference between what you paid for your AP and the current price of the DVC PAP. Your expiration date will be unchanged. You will need to show your DVC Membership Card and all adults (18+) will need to show a photo id that has the same address as the member.

And Disney does not prorate the cost of the upgrade based on how long you have had your regular AP's. For example, if the difference in price between the regular AP and the DVC AP is $100 on day 1, it is still $100 on day 364.

I upgraded 4 regular DVC APs to the Premium DVC APs one year. The cost for the upgrade was the same for the AP's that expired in one month and the AP's that had 8 months left on them.

Thank you :). I just wanted to see if that was the case before taking to the line up when we get there to do it. With going to the waterpark for one day, it is definitely worth it.
