I dont think she should wear it, but people don't need to mock her either.
Are you familiar with Michael Buble? Anyone that follows him or has been to any of his concerts knows he has a naughty sense of humor. That picture (taken by his wife, btw) wasn't posted to ridicule or mock anyone. My point is about posting pictures of what people are wearing in order to ridicule. It doesn't matter if someone is dressed "asking for it". It doesn't hurt to be descent and take the high road.
Then.comedians would be out of work.My point is about posting pictures of what people are wearing in order to ridicule. It doesn't matter if someone is dressed "asking for it". It doesn't hurt to be descent and take the high road.
So if she's crushed, embarrassed, and mortified because folks saw her in those shorts, maybe she shouldn't wear them out of the house?I don't know if it was right or wrong, but I don't like the "public shaming" mentality. Yes she wore the outfit, but does that give anyone the right to post a photo of an unsuspecting person for everyone to judge and mock? And making such a big deal that his wife took the photo? As if that somehow makes it okay. I would love to hear how the woman feels (and how old she is), maybe she thinks it's hilarious and loves the attention, but maybe she is crushed, embarrassed and mortified.
I also didn't like his backwards apology, kind of like saying "I'm sorry you feel that way."

I think it's kind of creepy that his wife took that picture. And when he says the picture was meant to be "complimentary"? Okay. I'm not quite sure how he figures that is a compliment. Are you familiar with Michael Buble? Anyone that follows him or has been to any of his concerts knows he has a naughty sense of humor. Or maybe the fact that she is publicly being shamed is the reason to be embarrassed. How many people would say these things to her face?So if she's crushed, embarrassed, and mortified because folks saw her in those shorts, maybe she shouldn't wear them out of the house?
Most comedians don't post unnecessary pictures of unsuspecting people for a laugh. Or maybe they do. I guess I just don't find that type of humor funny.Then.comedians would be out of work.
If that's the case, maybe she shouldn't leave the house with her *** cheeks hanging out.
I don't think he's a horrible person because of it. Everyone makes mistakes and questionable decisions. I'm sure he didn't think he would get this kind of reaction.I still love him. Period.
I guess it all comes down to whether you think he was shaming her.Still, I don't think it's okay to publicly shame someone. where does it end? what if someone does not like your choice of clothes and posts it for the world to mock. People are very brave behind a computer screen. Who is to say what is right or wrong? Would I have worn those shorts? No way, to me they were inappropriate and gross, but I still don't think that gives anyone the right to make fun of someone.
I kind of agree.I guess it all comes down to whether you think he was shaming her.
I don't.
