We have ADRs at the Luau Dinner Show on the last Saturday night of our trip (May 2nd). We are staying at the Swan. How do we get to the show from the Swan? Thanks!

Unfortunately, if you don't have a car at Disney, using Disney transportation can take a really long time if you have a dinner reservation at another hotel. We learned this the hard way many years ago. Like maryandtyson said, you have to take a bus to MK and then monorail to the Poly if you are going to the luau (or you can take a cab). The bus option could easily take you 45 minutes (possibly longer) so make sure to allow enough time if you choose to do that! A cab will take less than 15 minutes.

you could also take a bus to MK and then get on the resort boat, it first goes to the GF and then to Poly. Unless you have lots of people, then take the monorail.

Or walk through the world showcase gate through Epcot and take the monorail. From the TTC you can either monorail over or walk to the Poly.

You can use the wizard to see which route would have the avg fastest time...

This being said, we were staying at AKL in 2013 and had to make it to dinner at the Poly. We took the bus to MK and chose the boat over the monorail. Yes, the boat stops at the GF first, but we were able to watch the monorail we would have been on had we taken that option instead and we beat the monorail.

And the boat ride is really nice..peaceful:)

Taxi is the easiest and quickest. Allow 15 minutes or so, 30 to be safe. There can be backups during evening hours getting through the gate

Bus to MK, then boat or monorail (use resort monorail). Allow at least 90 minutes for this route.

Many people since I have been on the Dis have said that while laughingplace is vaguely useful, they can really steer you wrong sometimes.

Have you ever seen this thread?

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure if the monorail would be involved somehow. I've never been on it! So we'll definitely allow for a lot of extra time so that we can do the monorail.
