Hello to May trip folks :) I edited this just now to take out an over with info. I wish all an awesome time in May.

Yay - we've added an extra day! :dogdance: Please update me to 5/25-29 at GCH.

Last month on checkout day at the DLH we got a letter in our checkout envelope that said if we wanted to stay an additional day, our room would only be $129 ($129!!!) but we had flown down and couldn't change our flight to accommodate the offer. I don't know if they offer this at the GCH (I've stayed there 3x but can't remember anything like this), but we're driving down this time and if we get an amazing offer for an extra day, we'll take it. I love having an AP for the flexibility!

I've booked a woods/courtyard view but I've budgeted extra $$ in case we get a reasonable upgrade offer when we check in. :rolleyes1
 


I will be there with my daughter, friend, and her two kiddos from May 3-5th! Impromptu trip and I am excited! Does anything go on on Cinco de Mayo in the parks?
 
Woohoo! We added a day! Mom decided she wanted to fly, so we will now be checking into the GCH on May 27th.

People around me think I'm nuts, but I am so excited to be heading back to my happy place again!
 
We are inching closer to May! Our countdown calendar is up and ready for the "Tearing of the chains!" Hurry up May!!! We need a vacation!
 


Three more weeks until I'll be there for Music in the Parks with my daughters middle school symphonic band and choir and 5 more weeks until our family vacation!! Can't wait!!:yay:
 
My daughter and I are travelling to California for a family event. When we looked at the map and saw how close we'd be to DL...well.......I suppose we could come to town a few days early and check out the original house of mouse! First trip to DL! Woot!!! :wizard:
 
4 weeks & counting so excited!!! :rainbow: Checking in... We (me & DD18) will be there from May 22-25. We arrive the morning of the 22nd flying in to SNA. We will be staying at the Red Lion. Hotel, flight, shuttle all booked & paid for. Now I'm just buying Disney gift cards & we're all set.
 
Mother's Day trip, three generations, and my daughter's first half. Can't wait. May 7-11, Dolphin's Cove. Praying for nice, warm weather!

Today his fever is gone with no help from meds. He is wanting to eat but still pretty tired. I think he is on the upswing! We leave to drive to the airport tomorrow, and fly out Wednesday morning then our first park day will be Thursday after visiting family so I am hopeful that he will be fine by then. Fingers crossed! :rolleyes1 Thank you for asking.

Last day of April! :yay: Let's go to Disneyland, May people! We don't leave until the 24th and I'm already packing (in my head). Everything is all set... and I'm super excited to see the refurbs on Peter Pan and Soarin', and to see Disneyland Forever, Paint the Night, and the new WoC!
 
We leave for DL on the 17th. Have dinner reservations at Steakhouse 55 that evening. We'll be at the GCV. Then we check out on the 21st. Keeping fingers crossed that maybe, just maybe, some 60th Anniversary things happen earlier than the 22nd :) Who knows. Doesn't matter, we'll have a great time anyway!
