The April Mousercise Challenge! Sign ups open!

Had a great day yesterday, I went for a short run and then for my first hike of the year. It was short (2 miles) and it was a bit slippery in spots from the frozen slush that was still on top of the mountain, but it was awesome to be outside!

Do you ever have those days when you're like, "this - this is how I want to feel EVERY day!"

Catching up my workout reporting from the weekend. 45 min walk on Friday plus 60 min run on Saturday plus 45 min walk and 30 yoga Sunday.

810/900!

I realize now that I underestimated my goal for the month. At the time I didn't realize I was going to be doing so much cross training while getting ready for my race. However after the results of my mile test on Saturday morning I'm definitely going to keep up with the added walking for cross training. :) things are looking good for the race right now. But I have two weeks yet to mess something up. :(

It's awesome to see everyone getting out there and moving this month. Love this challenge thread team.

Finally back and exercising after getting a stomach virus last week - ick!

I'm so impressed with everyone working so hard! And the pictures are amazing!

Saturday I did my first post-sickness run. It was HOT, and I thought I would try running without music. Bad idea for a long run, but I got through it. 85 minutes.

Sunday DH and I went for our first hike of 2015! It was beautiful out and we saw hawks, butterflies, and a little snake. 162 minutes.

Sunday night I did another run (I was trying to finish a Nike Run challenge), felt great! 79 minutes (and ran further than I did on Saturday)

Total for the weekend was 326 minutes, and my total for the month is now 856/1200!

Omg! That's exhausting AND you were still getting over a sickness :worship:
I took the dog for a walk earlier today while it was still beautiful out then went to yoga once the skies opened up! Holy flooding batman!:umbrella:
20 minute dog walking
75 minute yoga class

did an early morning run yesterday and I suspect that I somehow pinched a nerve in my neck or shoulder or something. I felt a quick short pain and since then it aches to move my neck. weird.

at any rate:

795/1100 - hoping to reach 75% today.

Thanks, @pix13dust! I am feeling it today though. I'm starting a brand new half marathon training plan this week. Hopefully I will make it through!

45 minutes of p90x tonight
901/1200

What half marathon are you training for? I love to hear about other people's races.

I did the exact same thing except I did mine trying to carry something to the car in high winds yesterday. I was trying to get my hair out of my face to see without using my hands (that were full) and something now hurts in my neck a lot! I am hoping it will just go away quickly and on its own. Same for yours!

I have 30 min to report for last nights conditioning exercises I did. I'm headed out to run shortly tho and will be back later to add those minutes too.

I am doing the Philadelphia Rock n Roll half marathon in October (my first half!) followed by the Philadelphia Marathon in November. It's a long way away but in the meantime I'm doing the King of Prussia 10-miler in May. I'm sure I'll have some races in the summer too!
