Whats the easiest quickest way to get from the Royal pacific hotel to the Portofino Bay Hotel???? I know you can walk from the RP through citywalk and then back to Portofino. Is there a walkway or sidewalk to walk directly down the street from one to the other? Also what about the boat service, or shuttle?
We have a dinner planned at the RP but are staying at porotofino. the dinner is for after park hours so i dont know if any modes of transportation will not be running afterwards. Thanks!

you can take the water boat from rph to the dock in city walk.
get off the boat and get in line for the pbr boat.

boats stop running a 2:00 am from city walk.
boats will be at the hotel docks until they are shut down at 2:00 am.

also, if there is an issue where it is lightening, boats done operate.
go to the hotel lobby counter and talk to
concierge .
most cases, they will have you transported back to your hotel in one of their sedans

there are signs on the walking path to direct you to the hotels.

no walkway/sidewalk on the main road but thru the UO property.
pathway from rpr empties near margaritaville.

go to the boat dock in city walk to take a boat to the hotel you want to go to.

i don't use the walkway from one hotel to the other if i am going from one hotel to another.
(unless it is rpr to hrh)

You can walk (we did it pre dinner and it was a nice walk). However, after dinner at Portofino, we didn't want to walk back so we headed out to find a cab. As it turns out, at least as of September 2014, there is free car service between the deluxe resorts at Orlando: so we got a free ride (well we tipped the guy but free otherwise) back to Royal Pacific.

yes, that service has been around for many years.
only have done it when it is raining.

In truth, I had had too much to drink at dinner. :rolleyes1 It wasn't raining but the husband didn't want to walk me back to Royal Pacific. It really is a nice walk though.
