What to do with toddler in Epcot during ride swap?

Wondering what suggestions you all have for what to do with my toddler while my husband and I take turns bringing our older child onto Test Track and Soarin'? I haven't been to the parks in 15+ years so I just don't remember what might be there. I don't want my toddler to feel like she's just waiting around while her brother has fun all morning!

Thanks for any tips!

Turtle Talk with Crush
The Living Seas
Innovations areas (is one of those closing for renovations though?)
Character Spot

We did the Land Boat Ride while Dad did Sornin' and during Test Track there is a splash pad that little one got to paly in. You could always get a snack, we also like walking in the Living Seas area nice and cool, and so relaxing we spent about an hour just looking at all the fishies.

Thanks for the suggestions! I guess my issue is that I think my older child will be interested in those as well so I was thinking we'd do those attractions as a family. Or do you think my toddler would like doing those twice? I guess that might be the answer.

I think most toddlers could hang out in the living seas area more than once. How old is your other child?

There is a play area at the end of Mission space. You can get to it by going through the gift shop. It might be geared more towards your older child though (it's been a while since we've played there).

I agree with PPs. We do repeat trips on Living with the Land while rider swapping on Soarin. For Test Track/Mission Space, good options are:
1) splash pad
2) ride exit areas (both rides have spacious indoor areas for running around and Mission Space has an indoor playground)
3) Innoventions
4) if you go during Flower and Garden, there is supposed to be a playground in this area

If you're using FP, I would just wait there. To me it's way more of a pain to go to another attraction and then meet back up to swap, then find each other again after the second parent rides. We would just hang out in that general area and either buy or bring some snacks. My younger two never felt like they were missing out when we were still in the rider switch age range.

Is your younger one really only 6mos or is your signature old? I can't imagine most of the suggestions being necessary at that age. A two year old would enjoy the indoor playground at Mission Space or a splash area, but a 6month old would really be too young.

Personally, I would find an open area that is out of the way and let my little one run! He often has energy to burn and just wants to move. When we went to Disneyland a few months ago (he was a month shy of 3), he spent the time waiting for the others to ride ToT by jumping over the trolley tracks in the "road" and was as happy as could be. In Epcot, there are some lovely garden like areas that get little traffic that would be perfect. There are also jumping fountains outside of the Imagination pavilion that are great fun.

Innoventions West is closing for good as of right now. There are no new plans that they have released as of yet. Inntoventions East has had all of the younger kid friendly stuff taken out of of it with more of it closing soon.

When you are at Test Track Go into the exit for Space and there is a playground in there. You can also go to Mexico and maybe start your Duffy Bear. It is something that you can go to each country and get them to sign it. When you are the Land you can also go into Imaginations and ride that ride. They also have a great are to play in after words. There is also the boat ride inside the land.

If you choose to go in the splash pads keep your kids cloths on at all times. As much as we all what to think that Disney is a safe bubble where nothing bad can happen that isn't always the case.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

My baby is actually 9 months now. Will be 18 months during our trip. Planning a January 2016 trip. Still lots of time to figure things out!

My 2 year old loved the Character Spot and the Living with the Land boat ride while his big brother did other things. We also enjoyed a snack together at Sunshine Seasons. Honestly at that age, if they like something, they are more than happy to do it again and again and again, so I wouldn't worry about that.
