Towncar Tip?

Paying $130 roundtrip to and from MCO. How much is an appropriate tip for each way?

I usually tip 18 to 20% total and split that each way in case we don't have the same driver both legs. On the inbound if we take advantage of the complimentary grocery stop that most companies offer I always do the 20% as they have gone out of their way and waited for us.

On the return leg if the service is good and we get help with the bags (I am a single mom!) I also will do at least 18%.

Agree with the PP that you should split the total tip each way. So;
$130/2 = $65 cost of the trip one way.
$65 x 20% = $13 tip each way.

Little tip here: My experience is that the driver will always insist that he is my return driver, but never has that been the case. My hunch is that they're trying to get the double tip, knowing full well they may not be my return and I'll have to triple tip.

Worth keeping in mind but that hasn't been my experience with Tiffany or Florida Tours - they always mention that they can't guarantee that they will be able to drive us back to the airport.
