I have a mountain buggy nano and I LOVE it. It is my go-to travel stroller (actually I leave it in my trunk, so it is also my go-to off the car stroller) It pushes pretty well, obviously not as heavy-duty as some of my other strollers (Bugaboo Cameleon and BOB Revolution) but for a compact stroller, it's really very good.Wow! The nano does fold down really small! I'm really curious about what it looks/feels like in person. I'm going to have to see if anyone carries it locally.
Having said that, I also have the Uppababy Gluxe, which in my opinion, pushes even better than the Nano. For a trip down south like DWD, I would recommend the Gluxe over Nano because the sunshade on the Gluxe is amazing and you'll really need that if you're going in the summer. The Nano's sunshade is pretty much non-existing so I have put something over the hood to cover my daughter if she is sleeping. Since your child is already 13 months, I suggest you look into the Glite version, it's cheaper than the Gluxe and the main difference is just that Gluxe is good for 3m+ while Glite is 6m+ (doesn't recline as much as Gluxe)
However, if you're planning to do air-travel, Nano is great. It folds down like a luggage (though it's still too big as a carry-on luggage) it comes with a bag so it is well protected during the transport (my G-luxe already has a couple minor damages from the airlines) and it's a great space saver when we do road trips or take a lot of public transportation.
ETA:
I happen to have a couple pictures of the Nano folded compared to the Gluxe
this is how big it is compared to my daughter (about 9 months at the time)
how it folds compared to the gluxe (mind you, the gluxe is already smaller than regular strollers!)
But gluxe has an amazing sunshade! (next to it is my very old bugaboo) I don't have a picture of the Nano's sunshade but the hood is almost useless, lol
