FOTL needed for late October?

The crowd calendar is showing 2/10 for the last 3 days of October. Is getting the FOTL for onsite stay going to benefit me a whole lot?
$120 at Embassy Suites is to good a deal to pass up unless I get value for the FOTL.

if you are going just to do the rides in the parks, 3 days would work.
going just for the rides/shows, it can be done.

stay where you think it is the best deal for you.

when someone asks about the crowd calendars and wonders if ep's are needed, i assume that the trip is for rides and shows basically.

i'm sure you could complete the parks for everything in a 3 day time.

when i go, i stay onsite as i make it a total relaxing vacation.
i'm not there just for rides in the parks but the entire universal property.

Never been to UO. And it is not just about the rides.

This is going to be an add-on to an existing trip where we were going to go to UO anyway.

this won't be my one and only visit. So getting the full immersive experience is not that important to me.

you're not the only that says that.
many just enjoy going for the experience and only the parks.
it is still a fun adventure.

doing repeats in the next years makes it something to look forward to and not get stale.
you can explore other parts of the darkside on each returning visit.

when i first started doing the darkside, it was just for the parks,
then it was for hhn.
didn't enjoy city walk or hotel activities until more trips under my belt.

i did the darkside as an add on from the motherland vacations starting back in 1993.
longest stay was at wdw and add on days of commuting to uo.
it all changed with the hotels and ioa being added to uo.

now i reverse the length of stays and spend more time at the darkside.
we all vacation differently and do what suits us best.

have a fun time on your trip there!

Thanks for the feedback, but Istill don't have an answer to my question.

With the crowd calendar being 2/10, is the fotl/express even necessary?

if a crowd level is predicted to be 2, you would be wasting your money if you bought ep's.
