Help me with an off property hotel please.

Hello I am considering staying off property for at least part of my trip to Disney and universal in December. I prefer a choice brand hotel. If possible with an outdoor pool and free breakfast. The room will mainly be used for sleeping and showering but I want to know it's clean and a good hotel. Please help me with your experience. Thank you in advance.

What is your nightly budget, that would help? And are you talking Christmas week or earlier? Rates change drastically.

Any of the choice like mainstay clarion quality inn etc

Under 70 but I am more worried about which ones are clean good hotels and which ones are nasty holes in the wall. I will be there the 2nd thru the 11th of december

We stayed at Comfort Suites Maingate East a few years ago. It was clean, not too far from the parks, and had a free hot breakfast that was pretty good. The rooms were not fancy, but they weren't awful either. We liked it, especially since we stayed free on points!

I second the Comfort Suites Maingate East. We've stayed there for our last 3 trips and are staying in June. It is very clean, has an outdoor heated pool open 24 hours, free breakfast - juices, cereal, milk, yogurt, bananas, eggs, sausage or bacon or ham, breads/rolls, mini doughnuts, mickey waffles, coffee. It is easy to get to on the east side of 192 and it seems like the traffic on that end is not nearly as bad as on the west side of 192. Lots of places to eat nearby and Old Town is also right there. We've never been to Old Town, but it's usually pretty busy on the weekends. Not sure what the price would be in early December, but I do know that the hotel website runs specials that the chain website doesn't. I usually check both and book with whichever one is cheaper.
