They got off their bike when it wasn't necessary? They were at the gate and ready to pay. When would a time be more necessary then that?

Ok why don't you go ride a bike and try and carry everything with one hand while accelerating and steering/braking with another hand. Weak argument

Last time I checked, I didn't need to get off my bike to get my wallet out of my back pocket. Ohhh, that's right...I don't put my wallet in my back pocket when I ride. It is in my zippered pocket of my jacket. Again, no need to get off your bike at 1:15 AM in SoCal and advance on an armed guard.

It is unfortunate that the lane was not blocked off because that would have likely prevented this incident from occurring. But with that said, the security guard acted appropriately given the totality of the circumstances.

What if this really was a robbery and the guard didn't do nothing until it was too late. Then people would be saying how the security was dumb for not thinking riders in helmets getting off their bikes and approaching him at 1am during a cash pick up isnt a threat. I think he handled himself well.

What does this thread have to do exactly with Disney planning anyway? Unless you ride a chopper, Charlie.
