Hello everybody! Did you miss me? I hope so.
Here I am with some lows and highs. And just some thoughts.

What can I say about this trip? Well, it wasn't the best trip we had. Not sure if I can call it a good one.

Lows

Me being sick all the trip. I knew I was getting a flu or a cold right before we left. Had a sore throat, I was sneezing, coughing, I was tired, had a headache. When you think you'd better be at home in your bed rather than at Disney, you can tell it's bad. I knew it was bad, because I even didn't take pictures. I barely slept at first nights. I looked terrible.

Weather. Worst we've had so far. Cold, windy, rainy. Two days we just went back to the hotel as it was rainy and windy, and cold. Tried to spend some time shopping, but shops were mad with people hiding from the rain. Had no chance to wear my dress.

Inventions character interaction. 4 characters. Can you believe it?! Just 4! And 3 of those you could meet at EMH every morning. Very very very upset. The prices have gone up again. Can't say anything bad about the food. It was tasty, just great, plenty, good variety. But in total - it's not worth the price. And if they keep it this way, I won't bother.

No plush Baymax in parks. I badly want a plush Baymax. I could cry.

Ratatouille breakdown. We headed to the ride before 10 am, newbies queued with my kids while I took a spot in queue for fastpass. That morning the opened the fastpass later then the ride, so I couldn't catch up with my party after I had fastpasses in hand. So I went for single rider queue and less than 5 mins I was on a mouse... And when you go into corridor and you hear "Remy's kitchen is just around the corner" all went still. Breakdown. Why it's a low? Because they turned everything off and there goes the magic when you see how it works. 5 mins... And we hear "technical problems", "wait for CMs". You get me - no 3D action, no glasses, lights turned on and walk o your foot in the ride. Bye bye magic...

Not meeting enough characters. Low low low. Just the few basic ones. Bad bad bad.

Newbies. Yup, newbies. A total low. Don't bring newbies. Never. If you want the whole story, I will tell you. But don't bring the newbies!

Highs

Chip and Dale. They always had just a few people. On two morning we were the firsts ones and they were waving from far away to us. Kids were sooooo happy. On Thursday morning kids rushed to their meet'n'greet place and there was no sign of those two. My kids refused to leave. SO we waited. Few moment later we saw a happy mischievous couple coming over. And the fun began. We took lots of photos. Then I gave my photopass... And here it goes - the scanner didn't work. While the photographer was busy trying to fix it and there were no people around, Chip and Dale were bored.. So they decided to check photographers backpack. And they were lucky finding some interesting stuff - a bunch of those photocards they scan. So, Chip or Dale stuck a bunch of those in his mouth. He looked hilarious. Dale tried to do the same, but for some reason it didn't work. instead he began to throw the cards around - letf right up down - like confetti. My kids began to gather the cards. So he threw some more. And some more. In the meantime Chip found a yellow safety jacket in backpack. He put in on and started doing the catwalk. Dale then put the backpack on and joined. Care for some photos?

Biztro Chez Remy. Best meal we had this trip. I loved the atmosphere, food was delicious. Fantastic. A must for every trip.

Ratatouille ride. YAY YAY YAY. Loved it. what can I say more?

Dreams. We watched it. Once. But we did see it and I'm so happy my kids gave me this opportunity.

Photopass. 100 hundred photos. Great thing. Getting one every trip. So worth it. Now in my family pictures too.

So, I guess I'm done. Like I sad. it wasn't a good trip. Our plans went, well, how do I say it nicely?...

Am I coming back? Yes! No doubt! Need to fix all this. Planing a new trip.... Just need to get well.

I'm even not sure how to do a TR as some things feel like blackout. But I'll try and write a TR and share some pics with you.

Oh, what a shame you had so many lows. I think the weather can play a big part in it and obviously not feeling well. Hope you feel better now

You did manage some lovely highs though :thumbsup2 Glad you liked Bistro Chez Remy and the Ratatoullie ride. Sounds like great fun with Chip and Dale too. I have to agree about Inventions - I felt that if the characters had been a bit more exclusive or if you had never met the usual characters then it would have been worth the cost, but I don't think we'd do it again either.

Hope you manage a trip report - would love to see some of your photo pass pics :goodvibes

I missed you ! :goodvibes Welcome back, it sounds pretty dreadful and you definitely need to book a new trip asap for just you and the boys.

You poor thing not been well and all that rain

Glad there were some good points and that interaction from Chip and Dale sounds fab.:jumping1:

How was Paris ?

Shame you were unwell for your trip and that you didn't enjoy it as much. As you say though a good excuse to go back. I would have loved to see Chip and Dale mess about. I remember one time in the HNY one went to play in the lift and kept going up and down until the handler gathered them back up

Oh I missed you and I was thinking of you while you were gone!
Sorry that your trip wasn't as magical as it would have been. But I'm glad you still feel the Disney Magic and will be going back.
I'm delighted you liked Chez Remy. Did you get to ride Rataouille after the breakdown?
Chip & Dale sound hilarious - looking forward to the photos. :-)

No, been too busy to ride it again  but they did give everyone a fastpass - hand written.

Paris was busy, tiring, but great. Got lost a few times, kids demanded McDonalds (and it was no where to be found). Loved the city and want to come back, but without the kids. It's too tiring for them and not interesting. When we moved to a Paris hotel Ignas kept asking what park shall we go tomorrow and what rides are in Paris. I told him no rides, no parks. So he asked to buy tickets, take the bus and go to DLP :cutie:

Sorry you were poorly, it really is upsetting when things go wrong after so much planning and the excitement. Sounds like you managed to have some fun too though, Chip and Dale are so mischievous, photos would be nice. :)

Ignas went down with the flu. I know it's a bad thing to say, but I'm kinda happy it's now, when we're home.

Will upload some pics for you.

Welcome back and I'm sorry you were unwell for your trip. The Rat breaks down far too often but I'm glad you enjoyed the experience when you did get to ride it :thumbsup2 Hope your son feels better soon.

Welcome home! I missed you. Big hugs. I hope you guys are feeling better xxx

Welcome home Isila. Sorry your trip didn't go as well as you had hoped but fingers crossed Disney can put that right on your next trip.

Welcome home and so sorry your trip disappointed in so many ways. Hope you are feeling better now anyway and I'm glad you still managed to find the magic at times despite being so poorly. Those mischievous chipmunks sounded brilliant and well done for getting so much out of the photopass, I'm definitely getting one next trip. Love to see some of your photos when you're up to it. :goodvibes

Welcome back. Thanks for the highs and lows. I'm heading to DLP for the first time in about 6 weeks.

Sorry to hear you were ill and your trip didn't go as planned.

Oh what a shame you were poorly, get booking that new trip to make up for this one asap!
