Can 4 adults fit in a taxi?

Just booked our December flights into Long Beach. Since the Disneyland Express doesn't serve Long Beach Airport, we usually just do the flat-rate $45 taxi to DLR.....when it's just the two of us. This time, there's 4 of us; will we all fit in one taxi?

The first of March we flew into LGB. There were five of us. When we went out to the taxi zone, I asked for a mini-van to fit all of us and our luggage. It wasn't a problem. The flat rate to DLH was $45 and the return flat rate was $50.

Thanks for the quick reply, Geemo! I was wondering if they'd stick us in a mini-van taxi, but wasn't sure if that increased the $45 flat rate or not. Thanks to you, I don't have to wonder anymore!

Well honestly, how big are y'all? I ask because my Cousin Vicki and her hubby Francisco didn't fit so well in the cab, even though they had lost a total combined weight of 250 lbs. Butt ;) let me tell ya that just simply wasn't enough of a weight loss for them. So, they ended up taking a mini van. My cousin got the first row and her husband sat throughout the entirety of his seat too. It was behind hers. There was still room for the luggage, thank goodness! Lol :faint:
Now how they fared upon Mickeys Wheel of Misfortune, is an entirely different bag man..... :(

I'm from NYC so this post made me laugh. All we do is take taxi's here. I think we've put 7 of us in one before to get uptown hahaha
About 5 years ago I hailed a cab in NYC. I thought it was obvious that there were 4 of us standing there, and 2 of us, including myself, are pretty big. So 3 people jump in the back and I go to get in the front and the cab driver says he's not moving his bag for me to sit there. Unless I planned to lie across the laps of the people in the back there was just no way I was fitting. He agreed to let me hold his bag so long as I promised not to steal from it. Thankfully it was a short ride. I wondered why he pulled over for 4 people when he really didn't have 4 seats. It's the only time I've ever had that happen. In Vegas I know there is a limit of 5 people, even though the minivans often have a 6th seat. But that's the law there, so I get it.

The airport vans can't charge more, it's the same price, so make sure you let the driver know you're aware of the cost so you don't get screwed.

the luggage is a bigger concern, make sure it will all fit before you guys smoosh in :flower1:
