Hey Wot up ya'll. i'm always doing spontaneous stuff. They call me Last Minute Lothario and i have a lil scenario -- hey that rhymed.

SO, i have a question:

I am planning a last minute trip for a few days, starting Easter Sunday. I am going to make a reservation at the Beach Club. We do not have our tickets yet. I am driving in very early that morning on Sunday, hope to be at Beach Club at 6:30 am.

Can i take care of buying park tickets/getting magic bands/checking into resort in one stop at the hotel reservation desk? I don't want to spend the morning going to different places linking magic bands to tickets to room.

Would would you do in my situation? I can't buy the tickets ahead of time because i am using a bunch of gift cards and Disney wont take so many over the phone (??)

Big ups to all the helpful posts...i would not be making this trip otherwise.

We did it at Port Orleans last year. It wasn't technically at the reservation desk. After we checked in, they sent us across the lobby to concierge to add the tickets.

Be sure to link your resort reservation to your MDX account ahead of time. Then when you receive your MB upon checkin, and then buy your tickets (whether it is at the checkin desk or another desk, which I believe is the case), you can quickly have everything linked in your account so that your MB works for all.

Thank you so much. There will be four of us (me, my sister and her brats (j/k, luv em!). So when i check in they will give us four magic bands and worst case scenario send us across the room to buy park tickets at another desk? i'm sorry im out to lunch on MB stuff :)

That is correct. But as I said, make sure your resort reservation is linked to your MDX account before you arrive, so you don't have to do that in the morning.

The MB doesn't have anything loaded onto it, it is a link to your account. So if your resort reservation and tickets are in your account, the MB will work seamlessly as room key, park admission ticket, and FP+ pass. You can also link a credit card to your account at the resort and use it to charge expenses.

That's a pain! I haven't had this specific issue, but sometimes when one phone CM won't do something yo're pretty sure is possible, a new phone call with a new CM may yield better results. Good luck and have a great trip!

As soon as you purchase your tickets from the Concierge, ask the Concierge to set you up with your first set of FastPasses. They can quickly link up everything for you and you'll be on your way to the park with FPs all set.

Not sure if this would be convenient for you, but you could consider going to your local Disney Store and having the various gift cards all put on one card. Then you could purchase your tickets in advance online and they would link to your MDE automatically. You would then be able to get some FastPasses booked if you wanted to and it will eliminate the need to do any of that the morning you arrive.
Enjoy your trip!

Devils: try calling Ticketing directly and a Ticketing CM will allow you to use all of your gift cards. Be ready to read the complete numbers so scratch off the security area of each card.

the intensity and awesomeness of your advice is downright alarming! Thanks so much....its my "Dis"tiny to have a great trip :)

As I recall, they won't do that.
