Glad to report--- Poly and 'Ohana Alive and Well !!

Just got back from the Poly (staying at "Pop" for 1st time) ---- was so upset when I heard ( and saw) the lobby construction and the waterfall/fountains gone--- but the lobby looks great again !!!

The Tiki statue--- ( they seem to be using it as a logo--- it's on almost all of the new merch) looks great, and love the ceiling !!!

As for 'Ohana--- skipped it last visit after the menu changes, but decided to go back after I was able to get an 8:10pm ADR---- everything was great ! Salad was back and amazing --- didn't really dislike the lettuce wraps, but love the dumplings and chicken wings--- Skewers were fantastic ( beef, chicken, shrimp) --- and of course---- . The bread pudding--- had a table facing the castle-- great view of "Wishes"--- looks like it's back on our "Must-do" list !!

So glad to hear this. 'Ohana has always been our traditional first-night dinner, but there have been so many bad reviews over the past year. I'm glad to read that it's back to being a quality experience again.

I go to 'Ohana every two years, got it booked in August this year. hope the food and service hold up.

So glad to hear this, we are arriving on a Friday in August, and staying at the Poly, our first night of dinner is at Ohana, we have never been there.

So glad to hear good things about 'Ohana again.

I also really like the look of the Poly's lobby....very pretty

We ate at 'Ohana last December - and have been for many, many years. It was the best meal of our trip. So glad we saved it for our last night! What a great way to end our vacation!

We are doing Ohana for the first time this year. We have a super late reservation @ 945 but we will survive lol. My question is, can you sit around the beach etc at the resort while you wait on your table? I've never been to the Poly so I'm not sure of the layout. Since we are so late I was thinking we may be able to see some of the fireworks or just poke around the grounds while we wait if we aren't seated on time.

Here's the thing about O'hana. One day it's great and one day it's horrid. And I think all the reviews are truthful, it seems to be an incredibly inconsistent restaurant
