Was looking for some input regarding MM for me and DH.

Would we get our $ worth of pics?
On tbe fence about this. Amy feedback would be appreciated!

I don't think I'd do it again. I'd just go with regular photopass. We had tons of photos-in the hundreds, but very few of them would have been worth printing. I think they just hand anyone a camera...I was excited about the ride photos but we both made awful faces on Space Mountain, Splash wasn't memorable, and Dinosaur (my favorite!) the camera was down.

Aww. I have 10 ride photos of me on Expedition Everest, so along with the other photos, I definitely got my money's worth! :)

Oh that's a great idea. I didn't realize that was an option. How much is that compared to MM.

The photopass itself is free. You just have to get a card for the first time you use it and hand that card to any photographer when they take photos. You can buy prints (and possibly digital copies too-not sure!) from the website. I haven't done it in a long time, so I don't have a concept of the prices these days. It might be worth doing some calculating if you think you'll want a lot of the ride photos too.

PhotoPass is the photo-taking service - you use PhotoPass when you purchase Memory Maker. The difference is, if you didn't purchase Memory Maker, you can then choose to buy only the photos (or downloads) that you like, which costs $15 each. So you don't have to get too many pictures before MM has paid for itself.

Oh ok. Yes that's seems like a better fit for us. I can use the extra money for more Suvenoirs for my grandkids!

Take full advantage of every photographer you see and make sure to ask them the "magic shots"!

We debated about whether it would be worth it for me and my DH. We got around 250 photos over 7 days. It's now a must do for our next trip!! :)

We got it last year and I already bought it for this year as well. I much prefer to let them do the clicking. The photos of us in each park with our gameday gear on, was worth the whole thing. Also, our photos for MNSSHP are priceless to us.

Agree with everyone here! We got it last year and took about 150 pictures, that I now have saved on my comp and got to design with little borders/pictures, and the best part is you have them forever! Plus, the ride photos!! And on our trip, Tower of Terror took two videos as well!

I went solo for a week in September, and felt like I totally got my money's worth out of Memory Maker. Shots like these are priceless...

Not to mention that I made sure to stop EVERY time I saw a PP photographer, and did a lot of character meets. Did they all come out stellar? Nah. But did I love having a ton of photos from my trip that weren't selfies? You betcha! :thumbsup2

Once you purchase it, it SHOULD automatically show up on MDE. Ours did.

Thanks. We haven't touched our bands yet they are still in the box, we have been so busy! Do we need to do anything with them before I can purchase memory maker? Perhaps easier to call and have it applied?

I'm trying to remember hopefully someone else can confirm for sure but last summer I purchased it online. Then went to the customer service at the front gate on our first day and they applied it to our magic bands
