DIS Unplugged Show Feedback and Suggestions

I love The Dis Unplugged Show. How about expanding "The Trip" to have Teresa, JL, Kathi, & Julie as the team. Maybe they could get some of the Disney "Mom's Panel" to come in for a visit. Women, on Unplugged are so Under-represented

Maybe they could bring back the "Ladies Only" show that they had going a couple of years ago...

I wouldn't want to see the Trip become a show focused on women, though. I enjoy the show and the topics are broad and appeal to everyone, men and women, families and couples, etc.

Souvenir Sessions with Peter! the people have spoken

could also tie in with

Another suggestion I've made before, but not in this thread, is to have listeners/viewers send in photos and videos of their own Disney collections. That could be a fun segment or maybe just a quick feature periodically during an episode showing one collection each time.

This would be so awesome!!!

I enjoyed the 7 in 7 shows very much and realize they are a ton of work. Just a suggestion that someone on the team review the informative FAQ THREAD on the resort in question prior to the podcast. I follow the BC thread and the team seemed uninformed about topics covered in that thread.

If you are looking to add a different perspective to some shows, as has been suggested, why not some of the creators of top threads, like Mesaboy2?

I've been watching the podcast for the last year and a half and absolutely love it. I look forward to hearing what the team has to discuss each week. I love a good Pete rant! I'm not sure if this has been a segment in the past or not and I know quite a few member's of the team are former cast members, but I would love to know what their dream Disney job would be.

I must say, I especially enjoyed the prerecorded show from 3/18. The whole show had me laughing out loud. The same goes for the recent 7 in 7 series.

Keep up the great work guys! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to make us smile each week!

With the team having just completed a trip to DLR, could there be a segment on planning a DLR vacation from the POV of a WDW vet..what's different about planning that you need to know, what things are must dos, etc? Maybe this will be covered in the 7 in 7 DLR shows or is already planned...but as a WDW vet looking into planning a DLR vacation this year, I'd be interested in this. I'm sure with the 60th anniversary there are a bunch of other WDW vets considering the same.

On a similar note - for the DLR Podcast - could there be an updated review on the Fantasmic fastpass dinners at Riverbelle Terrace and Blue Bayou? I listened to the one in December, but it was soon after they started offering those options and from what I read on the boards there was a lot up in the air with those logistics at the time. I would think things have settled down a bit now? An updated review going into the 60th anniversary would be great :)

A lot of the personalized planning ("Help!") segments we do are for people that have experienced WDW, going all the way back to the very first set we did for Leah back at the beginning of 2013 and all the way up to the set we did for Brian last year. Definitely check those out.

I'll see if I can take on for the team and visit Blue Bayou soon.

I really love the show and look forward to watching it.. Since I booked our first WDW trip in Aug I have watched almost all the episodes. It has given me a lot of insight and help. We go to Disneyland every year but have never been to Disneyworld so I needed the help and I got it! I feel a lot more prepared because of the show. I also love The Trip, I love all the ladies on all the shows but The Trip is just extra awesome!

Since this it the podcast forum I need to address one issue I have with the podcast.

The backlog on the iTunes - as a not so new user hit still intersted in the history of the podcast I've been trying to go through the backlog. Some simply just do not work at all many in fact from older episodes.

Also the older episodes without tag lines that just say "discussion or email" are very hard to keep tabs of to know what you've listened to.

Thanks Mr. West!

(Ps it be cool if you did one show completely clean shaven just as a change!)

A segment with videos on how easy it is to get on and off rides with disabled people. I am going in May with my disabled mum and believe rides like its a small world will be fairly easy to wheel her on. Space mountain however I think would be very difficult.

Seeing a video of how easy or hard it is to get on a ride would help me plan our trip better. I did send a voicemail in with this idea a couple of weeks ago.

Keep up the good work.

Tom and I were just discussing this after our Big Thunder Mountain BBQ dinner, while we watched Fantasmic from the sidelines tonight. :)

When segments are part of a series (like, for example, the counter service breakfast reviews at DLR right now), would it be possible to put a link in the show notes page to all the other parts of the series? I listened to this week's episode and they mentioned having done a previous segment on CS breakfast at DCA (and an upcoming one at DL), but I didn't see a link in the show notes and it took a bit of clicking on each podcast from now back to January to find that episode. It wasn't terrible, time wise, but links to the other segments would definitely be helpful if it isn't too much trouble!

No trouble at all, just forgot to do it this time around. I'll update that soon. Thanks for listening!

Thank you for always being so responsive, Tom! I am new to the DLR podcast, so I'm not sure what's typical yet - thanks for your patience with me :D

On a related note, I just tried to listen to that DCA Counter Service episode (jan 11th), and it appears there is no file for that part of the episode. I tried to dl the mp3 and got an error code, and it also won't stream
