any safe place to leave a wheelchair for awhile?

dd has an ankle issue and cannot walk on the concrete or stand for long periods of time. She has a wheelchair that we always bring, but she would really like to go without the chair for as long as possible. Ideally, we'd like to let her walk in the mornings and use the chair in the afternoons (if she can go that long). Are there any areas in the parks that would be "safe" to leave the chair without it being taken? I don't imagine there is but thought I'd check for suggestions. I know if she had a scooter we could just take out the key and leave it for awhile, but she's not quite old enough to rent one.

I agree with kaytieeldr. On our trip last month I sat in my chair for only part of each day. I would walk from place to place pushing the chair ( it gave me some stability) and would often just park it either in stroller parking or by a bunch of parked ECVs before getting into a queue. This seemed easier than having to retrace our steps to retrieve it later. Make sure you have something colorful and distinctive attached to the chair so you can pick it out of the crowd easily.

We had 2 strollers stolen on our last trip to disney! One at downtown disney was probably mistaken identity, at the end of the day a similar looking one was left behind at the same restaraunt, the other was stolen at the end of the day while we were in cinderellas castle. Whoever stole it was "gracious" enough to remove our belongings from it and dumped it all on the ground. Disney loaned us a wc but wouldnt let us take it out of mk. It was very difficult geyting my dsughter back to the car. And it sucked having to use a chunk of MAW funds for a new stroller. I wouldnt leave it anywhere

Strollers are apparently a frequent target for theft. Who knew that there was a black market for stolen strollers? But I've seen threads on that subject for years. However I don't recall ever seeing a post about stolen wheelchairs. At !least, not personal ones or off site rentals.

I parked my ds's wheelchair in the stroller parking while we went on rides in that area. Then we pushed him in it to the next area of the park. If he felt up to walking I put my bag in the chair and pushed it to the next location. I would not leave it out of my sight for hours at a time though, those things are expensive and can't be easily replaced(for us anyway)

I have left oxygen and portable oxygen concentrators at first aid. I would guess that you could leave a wc there too. It likely will be tagged with your name and resort info.
