Surprised they didn't fast track that one. Maybe they'll release it with Frozen 2 for a complete overrated takeover.

I guess that's the reason why she's being put into Disney Infinity 3.0.

The past Live-action princess movies have done fairly well financially, I guess this shouldn't be a surprise that they would make another.

I am excited the see Mulan as a live action movie but honestly I can see how some parts of Mulan would be a tad scary for youngsters that saw the animated version. It most likely won't come out til 2019 though bc if it follows suit Cinderella came out this year and Beauty and the Beast won't be out til 2017 so I just figured every 2 years we will be getting another live action remake of the classic Princess tales, lol

Wow...that was...expected, but welcomed.

I just hope they do the strengths and actions parts of the film justice. Mulan represents girls rising to the occasion, the part where Mulan steps up is extremely memorable. If they botch that up and make it as some sort of "fluke" I will boycott Disney.

Ummm. Yes. Everybody is loving them and giving Disney their money. And it doesn't mean original material isn't being developed. Why not do live actions? They are a wonderful fun reinvention. When you love a story you like to see it retold and reimagined. And apparently people are loving it. I say keep going!

Pirates of the Caribbean had some pretty scary sections with battles and scary creepy stuff especially with the skeletons. This will be along the same lines, probably. A PG13 and not for the very youngest Disney fans.

I LOVE Mulan and it would be the first live action princess movie I would go to the theater to see. . . . though Disney really needs to have the Shaw Brothers on as consultants.

I've never seen POTC, so I wouldn't know. At least by the time this comes out my oldest son (who loves Mulan) will be old enough for it lol. He's only 8 right now but he will prolly be 12 by the time this gets to theaters lol

I'm soooo excited for this! I love mulan and the action will be so fun to watch. I'm curious how they'll incorporate mushu and the ancestors though? Unless they won't. It just better have the "I'll make a man of you" song in the movie somehow.

I just saw Cinderella tonight. If Mullan is half as good as Cindy, I think we'll be in good shape. Best Disney Live action movie in years.

Mulan has always been my favorite Disney movie based off of the music! Hopefully the songs will be recognized in someway and not completely removed. They did instrumental versions in the live action Cinderella, so hopefully they will do the same for Mulan. Although I won't object actual singing of those original songs! I hope that Jamie Chung will play Mulan because she does an excellent job in Once Upon a Time!
