Cool idea - maybe tell the photographer to snap a dozen or so pictures before you do. They normally only take one or two for some reason like there's a shortage of film. Do a meet and greet with both Mickey and Minnie if you can. The girl showing off the ring with Minnie would be a good picture.

If you can let one of the CMs know before you get to the front of the line, do so. That way they can prep Mickey for the scene.
Maybe, hand the ring to the CM, have Mickey give it to your girl, while you go down on a knee.

Now that toon town is gone I know Mickey is up front but does Minnie come out with Mickey still. Our reservation is allready marked as an engagement celebration blt mk view 1 bedroom villa

Two things:

1) Careful with having your reservation marked as an engagement celebration before the actual proposal. I'd be worried about a CM seeing the note when you check in or when you show up for a dinner reservation and saying something like "Congrats on the engagement!" and ruining the surprise.

2) I don't know if this is even true, but I read something on here before saying only face characters are allowed to assist with proposals because they can adjust their expressions accordingly if she says no. Disney doesn't want pictures of Mickey with a smile plastered on his face if the proposal doesn't go well, so the full costume characters turn their backs on surprise proposals. Again, I don't know if this is fact, but it'd be worth confirming beforehand.

The only suprise is actually when I ask
she busted my plan a while back because I'm too Predictable

the stone in her ring is not a diamond it's a gem stone that we found together that we had cut so she picked her setting

The best part is the only 2 people in her family that don't know are her mom and grandma

I meant a proposal that comes as a surprise to the character, like if you dropped to one knee during a Mickey meet and greet without running it by anyone first. It's my understanding they'll only allow face characters to participate if you try to set it up in advance.

lol, too funny. OP, I know you didn't ask for my opinion, but my vote would be that you propose in private. Haven't you seen the pics of "In The Way Guy" who completely ruined the photos of another proposal?

Have you thought about "Talking Mickey" for this? Maybe if he is prepped ahead of time he can say something appropriate.

We didn't care for frozen the only reason we are doing a&e is for her nieces

Mickey will be our first stop in the mk in 55 hours give or take because of magical express

Well as soon as Photobucket starts to behave I will share the pics of this afternoon
we got to the mk and only a 10 min wait for mickey as we went through the door I passed a note off to the cm
we haven't looked at memory maker yet but they took some pretty good pics with my cellphone
but I can't say enough about how great the staff is here
we had a disaster tonight
the stone fell out of her ring over in the gift shops and we didn't realize it till we got back to the room
they had at least a half dozen cm helping us look for the stone and disney magic prevailed they found it

well we knew we had seen the stone in the ring right before going over to the gift shop area at the cr
we checked with the desk here at blt to see if any one found it
and started backtracking every step we made
through the walk way and the shops at the cr and we just got lucky with the help of the cm that they found it
plus it's 1.25c of green amathyst so it's not a little stone
