The Murphy's are LIVE from WDW and Kidani! March 21-28 and April 2-5

The lobby isn't bad, it's very open and feels much larger....

The noise was definitely high all around this area, not my idea of a vacation.
I had moved us there from the Beach Club for Memorial Day as Poly is Amy's favorite. Then when I told Jeff he was like "remember what a mess it was in November"? We're now in the tower at CR. As much has I love the Poly, I'm still ticked that they took my beloved Tokelau for DVC!

Loved reading your TR!! Looks like a wonderful trip and you shared a lot of good info as well!! I definitely want to check out Trader Sam's!! I've always wanted to stay at the Poly...but that will have to wait a while until all the construction is done...who knows when that will be!! You are also so lucky that your boys seem so flexible and love Disney...taking my two kids anywhere together scares me because they fight so much and my 12yo is so moody...hopefully that will change when they get older. Your suite looked lovely though. Oh and on our recent trip a few weeks ago, I totally shared your frustration on getting into DTD with all the construction around there too. I'm sure it will be awesome when it's done...but yeah that was annoying. How awesome that your mom will be living so close to all the magic!

Thanks again for sharing your experience! I've learned so much about Disney planning from you. :)

Mom and I are having fun! :) Today we rented a golf cart and I'm very proud of myself that I didn't kill us. :lmao: Golf carting in The Villages is a way of life and they are just as fast and savvy as car drivers. At first I was squealing and freaking out :scared1: then I started to get the hang of it. Now I love it!!!! I would definitely buy one if I lived down here. Tomorrow the Realtor is taking us out so we'll be chauffeured around instead. ;) In the back of my mind I'm already thinking about getting back to WDW on Thursday!!!

Just found your report, looking forward to reading about the adventures with your mom, including the family suite situation!

Happy Belated Birthday!:bday:

Yes, I too am looking foward to hearing about the suite and how the sleeping arrangements worked out. When we go on vacay...it's always a struggle to find accommodations for our family of 4...we want to be comfortable without breaking the bank...sometimes it's a tough balance...The Villages sound awesome. Maybe I can convince my parents to move there one day...or maybe I will....

I'm ready to get a fake ID and stop coloring my hair so I can pass for 55!!! :woohoo: The Villages is like Disney for older people and I want to be one of them!!! :cheer2: Tonight we ate dinner at a wonderful Italian restaurant and then walked to the town square for live music and dancing. It doesn't matter that it's Tuesday... you can't even tell it's a weekday here because nobody works so every day is a weekend. We went to IHOP yesterday for breakfast (Monday) and had to leave because the wait was too long! And it was almost noon! I've come to the conclusion that life here is a permanent vacation where the only decision you have to make each day is where you want to swim or golf and where you want to go to dinner. :lmao: I think we have looked at a hundred houses... they are all nice. I don't know how my Mom will ever make a decision. She can barely decide what to order when we go out to eat. :rotfl: I have a feeling we'll be back here looking again. It's a good thing it's so close to WDW. :cool2: Speaking of, only one more day and then I'll be back!!! :cloud9:

Man they are advertising the new Poly bungalows on local TV here in Orlando like crazy!!!! Tomorrow is the grand opening for them. I've seen them talking about it on TV a lot today.

Checked in at All Star Music. Room was ready. Magic bands didn't work. Bathroom floor sticky. Fridge defrosted and water had run out all over the floor. Kitchen light connected to a horrible rattling fan. But we are slummin' in for 3 nights. I figure we can handle anything. LOL ;)

I'd go for slummin' if it meant some Disney time lol...I'm sure it will all be taken care of lol.

Mom and I went to DTD. Did some shopping, I finally got an Alex and Ani bracelet, then had dinner at Cooke's of Dublin. After that we saw a movie at AMC and went back to ASMu. I got Mom all tucked in ;) and I'm headed to MK! I have never been on this type of bus to the parks before.......

Successful quick trip to MK! :earsgirl:

Used 2 of my fastpasses, did a few walk-ons. I love late night park hours. :thumbsup2

Tomorrow we are off to Sea World! I haven't been there in over 20 years. Not really sure what to expect with their crowd level. Hope it's not too bad. :goodvibes
