Jenny Lynn is the best - hands down.

Can I do a "Mike Rant" a version of Petes!

So JL I'm reading the comments when you first got on and I'm so sorry you had to deal with those nasty comments. People who have nothing better to do then to nit pick someone or not even give someone a chance have no lives. I'm going back and watching the older shows, and you really came into your own JL.

Agsin I appreicste you even coming here to talk to us, please continue to do what you do: give us your views as a mom, tie in family values, and add some humor in!

Also you love Rocco's Taco tequliabar lol when we go in May im def checking it out with DH!

Campbell, you're right on. I don't get all this reluctant "well now I guess I like her" stuff. It seems she has to fight harder to get the approval from the fans of the show. Don't like that a gal isn't afraid to voice her opinion?

You will be there in Richmond?! Awesome! Please make sure to pull me aside. Let's talk about what type of stuff as a mom that you'd want to hear about for The Trip or otherwise. I'm all ears.

Special needs is dear to my heart. In addition to the time my family dealt with a severely restricted diet, my very close friend's son is profoundly autistic as well as blind. I used to take care of him periodically, and I have experienced theme parks with him as well. It is a seriously challenging situation that is very hard to understand unless you have walked in those shoes.

DH and I will both be there - our first DIS meet! Thank you for the invite to talk there - that would be great! :)

That's great!! DIS meets are lots of fun. This will be my 4th, having done the last 2 NJ meets and the 2013 DE meet. My wife and I will both be at this year's NJ meet 2 weeks after Richmond and hopefully this year's DE meet in October but I'm not sure about that one yet.

Jenilynn, I think you've done a great job from the start! You are very articulate and professional. And I was all like, "You go girl!" when you stated your thoughts about Blackfish to Pete. I hope he'll take the time to look into the new book, Beneath the Surface, which is NOT AT ALL sensationalistic but an honest depiction of the SeaWorld situation. I'll be at Richmond, too, and hope to get a chance to meet you.

I missed the Trip episode this week (I hope Teresa is feeling better!) and as someone who commutes for 2 hours a day, I look forward to each week's podcast and I love that JL is on each of the episodes. It's a constant in the varying topics, styles and context of each show.
She's knowledgable about orlando, WDW and orlando, being that she's a native Floridian, so as someone who isn't, I appreciate those insider tips and whatnot, it makes me feel like I DO know the area and gives me an upper hand when I am lucky enough to visit (not soon enough :worried:)

Looking forward to having the regular shows back on this week! Weeeeeee!!!!!

I'm also sorry to say that I didn't warm to JL immediately, but I'm completely won over now. JL You're easy to listen to and are always very eloquent. I listen to the podcast whilst walking my dog, and as it's usually very cold and blustery here in the North East Coast of Scotland you really make the walks more fun and interesting.
I can tell you love your job, and I hope you keep doing it for a long time to come!
