Where In The World and the Edge of 17

ED...remember Jefferson Airplane's WHITE RABBIT? One of the dance groups danced to that today :yay:...I LOVED it!

Are you kidding? Diane you have had one bad winter.

I am back working a lot at the drag strip and spent the weekend out there. Most everyone was as red as a lobster. I was even using sun screen and I am toasted.

:lmao: I had that same "red lobster" coloring last night too after the soccer game! :lmao: I'm just NOT ready for our Texas/Florida summers yet though! :tink:

:faint: Our l-o-n-g weekend is done. :woohoo: Sleeping late in the morning! :rolleyes: We spent the day on the beautiful University of Houston campus...DD is a 2000 graduate and she really enjoyed being back on campus:

Congrats to DGD for making it to Nationals.:cheer2:
That sandwich looks yummy.::yes::

DIANE...did I just read correctly on a post by Janice Dean on Facebook..."Possible RECORD cold & snow for the Northeast"??? WHAT'S going on up there? It's time for y'all to get a little SPRING! :hug: :tink:

You read correctly. Possible snow for today and lows in the 20's all week. Highs in the 30's and 40's. Friday is supposed to be nice says it may reach 60 but I don't believe it.:rotfl:Then Saturday back to 40.

Thanks...the girls are excited; the parents see $$$. :rotfl: More private lessons, hotel reservations, entrance fees but that all equals a fun 3-4 days with their friends! :dance3: We left a good bit of money on that campus :rolleyes: but so worth it. It was actually the first time I explored it extensively and I really enjoyed it!

I was SO hoping I'd read that wrong. :( One of DD's friends living in the Boston area posted "crying" with NO words! We all know you're so ready for spring! A little laugh for you...I have "pollen snow" covering my patio. :joker: I leave "footprints" when I walk across it! :rolleyes2 :tink:
