Invite to 'research'

Hi all,

We are at DLP next week (who hoo!) and yesterday received an email inviting us to a discussion for 2 hours over breakfast or during 'aperitif' with an incentive of €150 for participating. They mentioned that it is an 'exclusive' invite and only open to a random selection. They appear to be doing some research on behalf of DLP (although they could have just cut and paste various images!) but it doesn't say too much or give a place or anything... Just to reply to email saying yes or no.... The weird thing is the email was addressed to our DD5 ?!? We obviously put her age down at the time of booking... It came through via the family email which we used to book DLP
They said its on the 2nd or 3rd April (when we are there...)

So anyone else got a similar invite? It is a sham? Where would they have got her info from?
Interested to know what you guys think and is it worth going? We are strong willed people not to get sucked into any buying/timeshares etc... We are already dvc members but it says it's for research?!?

If you can see/establish that its from DLP themselves, I'd definitely go for it! I know a couple of our members here on DISboards have had similar invitations in the past, with similar timescales and incentives mentioned.

We had the same and it was addressed to my DD who's 8!

Meant to reply to the email to let them know but completely forgot and we're off in the morning. We come home on the 2nd anyway so it'd take time out of our final day and I probably wouldn't have done it, but did think it was odd that it was addressed to DD!

I've had one of these too, as have a number of people on the DLP trip advisor forum. Most of their emails have also been addressed to their children which is that part I find the most odd. We're not there until the 7th but I might email them anyway so see if they can tell me where they got their information from.
