For breakfast I'll throw another suggestion in for Grand Floridian Cafe, I honestly prefer it over Kona.

Primetime: I love the fried chicken and the smores for dessert

From Artist Point:
Smokey Portobello Soup
small_gold_star.png
- with Roasted Shiitakes, Chive Oil, and Sourdough Croutons **Best soup of any kind I've ever had!
Artist Point Cobbler - with Seasonal Berries and House-made Black Raspberry ice Cream. NOTE: Gluten, sugar and nut-free available ***Amazing!

I haven't dined at all your choices, but I can tell you my favorite things from a few of them:
Via Napoli - I love the Quattro Formaggi pizza, but I'm a cheese fiend. Whichever pizza appeals to you, go for it. I love their tiramisu and the zeppole dessert.
Chefs de France - LOVED their French Onion soup, and the profiteroles dessert (they may call it something else now, its the ice cream in a pastry shell with chocolate sauce)
Le Cellier - Beer cheese soup - I wish Canada had a QS or stand that sold this.
Flying Fish - Loved their crab cake - but, disclaimer, I am not from anywhere near a coastal area where crab cakes are common.
Artist Point - Enjoyed the salmon, but the berry cobbler was one of the super-standout dishes of my trip that year - do not miss this!

Chef's: The pre fixe lunch comes with either the french onion soup or the lobster bisque (my preference) and a item for the desert menu. I love the quiche but there are 2 other entree options. DH enjoyed the vegetable lasagne (not part of the pre fixe :()
Yacthman's : We both loved filet. Another great lobster bisque. If you don't like the potato /starch option with your steak you can get another.
If you want to take a break atUniversal my suggestion would be Emeril's at Citywalk. We love his restaurants in Vegas for lunch and dinner.

That pizza was my favorite at Via Napoli! I was torn between dessert lasts time.
I wanted to try the french onion soup, but went with the escargot which we're really good.
Lol @ the disclaimer :p

Those were my two favorites on the menu each visit! We didn't care for the meal at all in 2013 during the menu change, but now that they changed it again and threw the buffalo back on as an entree, we're going back.

A few standouts for me.....

Kona - The Samoan
Via Napoli - artichoke and truffle or prosciutto and melon pizza
San angel - avocado margarita
Flying fish - calamari n rock shrimp app and any of the seasonal fish choices
Jiko - carrot soup and short ribs

Kona is one of my favorite breakfast spots! I love the macadamia nut pineapple pancakes! They are SO delish! Tonga Toast is also very popular. I also love Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. After going for the first time in Nov, it is a must do each trip now. The vanilla-laced french toast is amazing!

Via Napoli was one of our favorite dinners last year. I loved the pizza. I ordered the individual piccante pizza and it was awesome! For dessert I had the Zeppolis- ricotta cheese fritters with whipped cream and chocolate sauce- OMG! This was to die for!

Flying Fish - Char Crusted New York Strip was the best steak I'd ever had - their Caesar salad was also amazing!
Narcoossee's - I absolutely loved their Heirloom Apple Salad!
Artist Point - My hubby really loved the Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo! entree

For breakfast we really liked the Banana Bread French Toast from Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.

Crystal Palace was really good at lunch and had a few not typical selections as far as pasta items that sound weird, but were really good.

At 50's prime time cafe I got the sampler, which was good, but the best part of it was the fried chicken. I got the Boston creme parfait and it was really good.

The tusker house is amazing for breakfast. The ethnic food they have is good and the rest is typical food they serve everywhere else.

If you can get into the be our guest restaurant do so! It is worth it and get the steak! My wife got that and I got the lamb. Lamb was good, but was a small portion.

Have fun!

for universal, are you looking for lunch suggestions only? your disney meals are generally nice sit-downs, are you looking for comparable places at universal? there are some great CS places in the parks (harry potter in both parks, the CS in krustyland), but if you want fancier dining, you'll want to head either to citywalk or the universal hotels.

We'll have Disney location dinners later in those evenings, so we're looking for lunch options.
I'm open to any suggestions for quick/counter options! If we do sit down, it'd likely be Margaritaville

I think you have picked some great restaurants!! I haven't had the pleasure to dine at all of your choices. But I will give you my take on what I have eaten.

Breakfast:
Olivia's: I really like this place, I have not been here for breakfast however. I usually make a special trip for some Conch Fritters.
Kona Café: I would have to say that Kona is probably my favorite breakfast spot on property. Tonga Toast - a bit sweet for myself, but really good. Big Kahuna - we usually order one of these and a Tonga Toast and share. The Macadamia-Pineapple Pancakes are my favorite. The Samoan was a surprise to my, I have always wanted to try it, but I didn't want to give up my pancakes. Last trip we made two ADR's here for breakfast just so I could get both. I'm glad I tried it, it was great. The Pulled Pork was good, but that Hollandaise sauce was Yummy!!!

Lunch:
Via Napoli: Love, Love, Love Via Napoli!! I have tried the Quattro Formaggi Pizza, Prosciutto e Melone Pizza, & the Carciofi Pizza all were great and would not hesitate to order them again. For dessert the Tiramisu is great. My favorite is the Zeppole di Caterina.
San Angel Inn: It's been a long time since my last visit here. I don't think what I had is on the menu anymore. I do remember I enjoyed the food. The best thing about the restaurant for me was the atmosphere. It's a little dark, but I kind of liked that.
50's Prime Time café : Love the Fried Chicken, Love the milkshakes!! Lately the sampler has been my choice, Fried Chicken, Pot Roast & Meatloaf. It's great to be able to try so much on one plate.
Chefs de France: The Beef Short Ribs is probably my favorite thing on the menu. A lot of people love this place, I really don't care for it too much, and I really don't know why.
Corral Reef: This place really doesn't get very much love. It's really a neat restaurant. I have dined here twice and have enjoyed my meal both times. I really like the Creamy Lobster Soup. The last time I was there I had the Lobster Ravioli for lunch, I don't think its on the menu anymore but it was really good. The Bailey's & Jack Daniel's Mousse was great.

Dinner:
Artist Point: Smokey Portobello Soup, Cedar Plank Salmon, & Artist Point Cobbler, Yummy!!!
Le Cellier: I have had the Cheese Soup and it was good with the pretzel bread. The only entrée I have had here is the Filet Mignon and it was great.
Narcoossee's: I think I had the Surf & Turf. Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure that I loved it.
Flying Fish Café: One of my favorite restaurants. I get the Potato Crusted Red Snapper, It's so good.
Jiko: I haven't been here in forever, I can't even remember what I had or if I liked it.
Yachtsman Steakhouse: Love this place. My favorite is the New York Strip Steak with the Peppercorn Brandy Sauce. The truffle mac & cheese is really good. For dessert I usually get the Peanut-Chocolate cake, it's very tasty.

Have a Magical Trip!!!
