Quick Food Shopping Stop

We want to make a quick, easy grocery stop - wine, snacks, fruit etc - on the way from MCO to ASM. Looking for suggestions of where to make the stop - we don't care about the brand, just want a grocery store.

TIA

I stopped at the Publix off John Young and Town Center. It was nice since it was far enough away from WDW that it was mainly locals. We also grabbed some lunch at the nearby McDonalds. I also saw a Publix at the Landstar Blvd exit when I filled up my rental car before returning it.

Make sure you have plenty of quarters if you don't get the Sunpass option for your rental car. I think I had to use some quartears to get back onto 417.

I found the Publix in Celebration to be quite nice. I've been to a lot of Publix stores in Orlando, but the Celebration store was the nicest in my opinion.

Thanks. Which way on John Young?

Will have a lot of coins . . .

Saw this one when I refilled car. Did not go in. Pretty close to MCO.

I don't think it's on the way, but there is a Super Target not far from Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's easy for a quick stop because all the groceries and located in on area of the store and it's right next to health &beauty if you need any toiletries.

Good suggestions above. Whatever you do, don't stop at the Goodings in Crossroads Plaza. Super expensive.

Thanks to all! Including those not quoted!

Thanks . . . I have no idea where that is. Is it an easy off/on the highway?

Is that easy off/on? Which exit? Does Target have a decent beer and wine selection?

At least they are convenient.

I forgot to mention that the publix locations I listed are assuming you take SR-417 from the airport.

I have stopped at the Publix at Landstar Blvd. Very nice store. Going to WDW the Landstar Blvd.is the first exit you come to on 417. Get off 417 turn left and its about 3/4 of a mile down the road on the right side. Very easy on and off the highway. As a PP mentioned there is also a gas station across from the Publix so you can get off at Landstar to refuel the car before getting back to MCO.

I try to avoid the stores near WDW. The shelves seem to better stocked.

If I do need to get some more groceries after I get there, I go to the Winn Dixie on 11957 S. Apopka Vineland Rd. Probably not too convenient to ASM though. Better for locations near DTD.

Thanks for this info, looks like this is right near our time share (we are across from Walgreens, on the same side as this WD it appears).

There is a Super Target right off the exit on Orange Blossom Trail exit off of 417. That is usually where we stop when coming direct from MCO to the resort. It is literally right off the exit and a quick, easy stop.
