I am thinking of dropping the kids off at club disney so my husband and I can enjoy trader sam's. I've been looking for info and reviews of club disney but haven't seen much, and video clips I've found have only very young kids in them. I know they have video games and go to age 12 but I want to make sure an 8 year old will not be boredut of her mind or just surrounded by toddlers.

Any other advice or info is appreciated too! They will stay either 2 hours or 4 if we sneak back to a park for an hour, :)

We had our kids (DD7 and DS5) at Sandcastle Club (at Beach Club) for their first ever kids club experience. They loved it. We stopped by for peek prior to their reservations, and the staff was very welcoming. My DD spoke up to say that they would be back later. When DH dropped them off for their time, my DS barely said goodbye and walked right in. And he's our shy one. They did crafts and games, and even dinner. Sounds like there were a couple of other kids there too. We had them there for about 3 hours, while DH and I had the chef's tasting wine dinner. Money well spent!

Sounds great! It's our tenth anniversary :) so I feel like we need to do this!
