Orbitz code is for everyone, 15% off, I don't remember the code exactly but it is on the front page I think! The rates that pop up when you search for hotels are the Disney summer discount rates, you can confirm this I believe it shows in green under the rate itself.

Has anyone used amazon pantry? Wondering if I'll get charged the fee for package delivery.. if you did, what was the fee?

I just want to say that this thread has gotten me so excited to stay at CSR. I'm planning for Fall 2016 so it's pretty far away, but I can't wait to explore this beautiful resort. Thanks for all the awesome posts and photos!!

Love love love Coronado Springs! Have stayed at CSR the majority of my trips...seems to be the most forgotten of the moderate resorts but it's gorgeous, peaceful, and has great bus service and pool area. Last stay in May 2014, and will be there again in a week!

I keep going back and forth between Coronado or Caribbean Beach. The second sink at CBR would make getting ready easier and I love the beaches but beach section of Coronado look incredible too.

Does anyone know the trick with the thermostat to keep the air running?

I saw on http://disneyparksmomspanel.disney.go.com/questions.aspx?pgm=2&pid=45&cid=73&qid=202384 that you can request a roll away bed at Coronado as long as you don't have more than 4 people in a room. Is that still accurate? Does Coronado Springs have elevators?

No, CSR does not have rollaways available.
The Cabanas section has elevators for sure. Someone recently posted a section with no elevator. I don't know what section that was...maybe rancharos?

I think it's the 4th floor of one of the casitas buildings. Apparently there is access to an elevator in the next building but it is a long walk. I have never been but this is what i have read. I'll be there in 29 1/2 days so if you're going after that i'll let you know. ;)

Awesome! Glad my TRs have been helpful. I do plan to finish the one from last year....eventually. I'm bad with that.

I think we'll be too late to run into the cheerleaders, since we're going in June this year.

Kristin and I continue to wonder if we are making the right decision by skipping CSR this year. I even proposed eating at Maya Grill so we can go to the resort, but it didn't seem worth it (though we LOVE Maya Grill). I'm sure we'll love CBR, but I have a VERY hard time finding any faults with CSR. The only one I could potentially see for some people is the resort's size, but I view that as a positive. I liked the layout much more than POFQ or POR.

You're going to love it!

If anyone else wants to hear me rave about CSR and see hundreds of photos of the resort, feel free to check out my TRs as well ;)
I have a question. Maybe you can help? Everyone seems to request a building/section. Is this a must? I have never had to request any building at any other resort. I was always fine where I landed. Now I'm thinking I need to look into a building and request one? We have 2 standard rooms. I would REALLY like them to be connected or at least the same building....so, do I need to call the resort? if so, when? We go in June. Thanks!!

I'd call them right now to request the connection. I'm not familiar with the new online check in, but you may be able to request specific buildings at that time, too.

Building is really just a matter of preference. We like the Cabanas for the theming, but loved our room in the Casitas as well. Not a fan of the theming at the Ranchos, though, and they're farthest away from El Centro. Look at the map and see where you'd want to be.

But in the end, you're still at Coronado, so it's all nice :)

Just did online check-in for our arrival next week at CSR and you cannot request a building at that time. It only gives a few options to choose what you may prefer...close to transportion, cabanas, ranchos, and a few others. It did not let me request Casitas (wasn't even an option). I had to call in and make that request.

I'm not sure if you are driving or using the buses, but without a doubt the bus system at CSR is much better than the one at CBR. CSR has 3 fewer bus stops. Also, as CSR tends to have convention guests, there are fewer Disney bound guests using the buses. They don't get as packed as the ones at CBR. So if you are relying on the buses to get around CSR is the better choice.

Coronado Buzz's site states that rollaways are available. At a charge of $15 per night. So maybe there is still a way to get one.
