Friends and Family Discount

My CM friend booked us at All Star Music last summer at 40%. He was not staying in the room with us. I kept checking and was able to get 50% when it became available and discounted dining also. That was about 3 weeks prior to our arrival. So yes, the discount can go to 50% without the CM. :earsgirl:

It's. It the standard discount, but often Disney will release a deeper CM discount where FF can go up to 50% and CMs in the room go up to 60%.

These are also the discounts the discounted dining plans are typically attached to - meaning you can't get one without the other.

Nothing still today. The current discount still goes to March 28, but nothing beyond that yet.

My Nephew is a CM and was able to get us a discount on a room for August. Any chance he will be able to get a discount on dining for the same montyh?

There's a chance for a dining plan discount and deeper room discount, but it's not available for August yet. Call (or have your nephew call) closer to your travel dates to see if there's anything available for your resort. There's limited availability for these discounts, so it may or may not be an option for you. At the moment, the current dining plan discount is up to March 28 only, so you should check back in June/July (or maybe even August, depending on your dates).

We have a F & F room booked for us in July. This is the first time we are doing this. Do you normally add the dining plan right away and then inquire about a discounted rate as the trip gets closer?
Also, when our CM friend booked the room, he said that we could go ahead and add the dining plan later if we wanted. I just called this evening to ask about it and I was told I was not allowed to do so and the CM would have to call and do that. Is this the case or do I need to try again and get a different person on the line? Thanks for any info!

My daughter saw on the hub last night a summer special for dates April 12-June 6. It only mentions AS Sports but then it says other rates may be available or something like that she said, so not sure if that means possibly other hotels. The code for the Cast Member discount is L222Y. She didn't tell me the code for Friends and Family but its also there she said. Its not available to book until tomorrow 3/23. Also I called before I noticed the screenshot she sent me said 3/23 and the CM also said that if there is any kind of change that would affect the rate or adding a dining plan changing to a package the CM has to call. Changing dates or adding a person etc supposedly anyone on the reservation can call

The last 2 reservations I have been able to do it so maybe they are getting more strict?

There are further discounts available after March now. I just called in and wasn't able to get anything further for my resort and the dates I'm traveling (Art of Animation LK suite May 18-23) but hopefully others have better luck!

I also called today. Nothing for my dates either - April 1-8 at ASMo. I didn't really expect it as it is the Easter holiday week, but I was hoping.

The CM was not specific as to the details past 3/28. Does anyone have those? (dates, %, discounted dining?) Thanks.

I called today too - also nothing for my resort (Yacht Club) - but there were some for Boardwalk and AKL. And quick service dining (but not regular). I wasn't ready to move my reservation to get the rate.

They didn't give me a breakdown of the discount (only the room + dining price) - and we don't have a SM staying in the room. This was for May 23-31. (sorry I don't have more info).

The rates were good, but not sure I am willing to give up Stormalong Bay!

My daughter got some info last night on the summer offer. 50% FF and 60% CM. Not including AOA, AS Movies, AS Music, Port Orleans FQ or Riverside...she didn't ask about Deluxe. Also was quoted $34 for the quick service plan (about $8 off)

Not sure if you are asking me? I posted the dates in an earlier post. April 12-June 6. Also when she called last night to actually book she was offered AOA suite and Movies so it looks like the only ones not included must the Little Mermaid rooms for AOA

I booked a cm discount for a deluxe hotel for 8/2015, but the discount they gave me was not 60%. If a discount comes out and is better then the one I rec'd in March, can I get that discount? Also does anyone know if there is a cm discount out for the Reg.dining plan & the deluxe dining plan?

If it's got availability with the deeper discount you can add it. It's not a guarantee.

They discount the regular plan, not the deluxe.

For the newly added promotion it's just the quick service that is discounted.
