Our next trip is going to be Jan/Feb back at the DLH taking advantage fo the 2 nights free I think, so will do Mon-Fri at DLH.

I really wanted Sun-Thu as wanted the whole day on the Monday in the parks, but as there are no direct trains on the Thursday I think we're better to do Mon-Fri at Disney.

So was thinking maybe it's a stroke of genius idea to get the Eurostar on the Sunday and stay at VdE the first night and check into DLH nice and early on the Monday so we can have EMH and the full day.

I am clueless on VdE! Would love your thoughts/advice?

I've stayed at the Sejours & Affairs (basic but fine) and the Hipark Serris (nicer that the Sejours but further from the RER station). I've also read good things about the Residhome and the Elysee, both of which are close to the RER station. If it's just for a night I'd probably just go for the cheapest!

You could travel in the morning & arrive in time for brunch :earboy2:

Hipark would be my choice for a longer stay but for 1 night probably residhome as its so close to the station.

I've stayed at the ibis in Val d'Europe which is only a 1 min walk from the hotel to the train station. We are also staying there in May for two nights before we move to the Sequoia Lodge on the Monday as it was cheaper to book the direct Eurostar for the Saturday than the Monday. So we will be doing the Sunday brunch at the Disneyland Hotel.

It's not VdE but I managed to get Kyriad for £43 from Travel Republic for the night before our 4nights stay, including breakfast. So we can just use the shuttle bus to get to Disneyland Hotel.

We have stayed in the Residhome and the Ibis in Val D'Europe, both are right next to the station. The Residhome will probably give you more room and has a mini kitchen in the room too.

I'd probably go for a partner hotel that runs a shuttle bus, such as Kyriad. We did Dream Castle for a night at the end of one our stays and found the bus handy and more frequent than the one that runs to VDE - although you can get the train.

I've stayed in the Ibis (not the Ibis budget) and found it not bad at all - the entrance is steps away from the RER and I'd rather be taking the train than the bus with a little on if you can avoid it as the bus ride sounds mental from various TR

Thanks all. To be honest I think we'd pay for a cab as we'll have cases, buggy etc both ways.

Guess I'll just have to wait until I know dates and then see what prices they're all offering etc.

Sounds very sensible and wouldn't cost much or shouldn't do for a taxi :)
