DVC doesn't have any incentive to improve service, we pay them good or bad.
Rough estimate is that they are paid over $32,000,000 per year to operate the DVC including keeping us on hold.

AND, there are always plenty of people to jump in and say it's all awesome - everything is awesome - or it must be the complainer's fault.

Are you sure you dialed the right number? Perhaps you dialed another number that just coincidentally had the DVC recording.
Dues increases = awesome! (you must be too poor for DVC)
Lower pass discounts = awesome! (see above or some variation like - I bought 27 vouchers years ago - why didn't you do the same; couldn't you have guessed how many children you might have; how could you not have several thousands of dollars available for vouchers to be used in the future))
Dining plan lowering quality of food = awesome! (we regularly pay $40 for mediocre chicken; you just don't know good food)
Bad DME service = awesome! (it says 4 hours....you're on vacation what's another 2 hour wait at the airport)
Wait times on hold = awesome! ( not for me! therefore, in my mind, it could not have happened) this is almost a SNL skit
Poor bus service - Awesome! (MY BUS was exactly on time - the rest of you are all outrageous liars - unless you video taped it with full license plates and multiple witnesses)

You called it Tower of Terror! it the Twilight Tower of Terror (or some obnoxious abbreviation) therefore everything you said must be disregarded.
Imagine if that was what plane crash survivors heard - MY plane didn't crash. Why did you get on that plane? What were you wearing on that plane? I would NEVER fly that airline! I've been flying for YEARS and I have never been in a plane crash! We were at MCO yesterday and we didn't see any crashes.

Customer Service 101 - people tend to complain more than compliment. The fact that they post here or bought a membership or went to WDW is the compliment. People get frustrated, angry and scared - they want to be heard and validated. That's why I have less than 400 posts in 14 YEARS! It's so tiring.
I recommend reading the 'blame the OP' posts in either the Roz or Eagle Eye Sam voice. Makes it more tolerable.
