"For the first time in forever, I'm getting what I'm dreaming of." Sept 2015 PTR

Congrats on booking!!! It's such a great feeling to be official!

Love the family movie nights pictured above! Those little card men are adorable!! Do I see a countdown chain too? Are you close enough to start counting on the chains??? SO EXCITING!!!!

Thank you :) Well, I don't know if we are really close enough for a countdown, but the kids really wanted one. We started it with over 220 chains. LOL. The kids love getting up in the morning and tearing one off.

Congrats on booking the trip! :thumbsup2

Do you do the Disney Movie club? How do you like it? I was thinking about joining because I'm having trouble finding some of the Disney movies I want to see. It's not like I can go rent them at Blockbuster. :rotfl2:I worry that I will forget to send the cards back and end up with movies we don't want or already have.

Thanks!
I don't belong to the club, just the reward part. So if we buy any Disney movies from the store, I enter the code online and get points. I save the points to get the $10 Disney gift cards. I have $30 for this trip so far.

Congrats on being booked!! Such a great feeling.

Alice night came out great, love the decor!

Thank you :)

Mulan FMN #27

We celebrated Chinese New Year with ordering Chinese food and watching Mulan. I got some Chinese finger traps and the kids thought it was pretty funny getting their fingers stuck. This was my favorite movie night so far, super easy meal for me ;) My DD made a bunch of her own decorations to add to the table.

My DS decided to take a nap when I left to get the food. So he slept through most of dinner, we tried to wake him, but he wasn't having it.

ADRs and Basic Plan

My ADR date is coming up quickly, I can't believe I have to know where and when I want to eat, this far in advance.

I'm also wondering if the 4 hour time difference will come into play for us. Or since we will be up earlier, will it not matter and we will still be hungry at the normal times? :scratchin Probably sounds like a silly thing to be thinking about.

Onto our daily plans at this point in time...

So that's it so far. If we decide on Universal, I may add one more day onto our trip. This is what my free time has been consumed of lately.

Plans are looking good! I'm with you on the stress of planning meals six months ahead of time. I constantly ask myself stuff like "What if I'm not hungry then? What if I spread out my times too much? What if, what if, what if?!? It consumes my mind as well!:mickeybar

Hopefully you guys won't be effected by the time difference. Good luck on your ADR day; I hope you get them all!!:thumbsup2

Sisa, I came across your thread and my trip follows about 2 weeks after yours. You have a lot of posts to look through but I wondered if you could answer a question for me. Since I also am hoping for free dining and I know we need to make our ADR's soon.....do I need to have my package bought by the time I make reservations? Also, do I need to call back and inform them if I'm successful in adding free dining to my trip? Or is a reservation simply a reservation?

Thank you. Yes, too many what ifs for never being there before. I am just going to move ahead with what I have and hope we will be hungry.

Thanks good luck to you on your ADR day too! I like your plan!

Hi! From what I understand, you just need to have a package reservation in place to book your ADRs, it doesn't need to be paid for completely. You do not need to call and let them know you have Free Dining, it will be on your account.

Love your Mulan movie night! Your so creative! I never got these started and now I think we're too close to get it going now. Can't wait to see what other ones you have planned!

Oh my goodness your Mulan family movie night dinner is adorable! It looks like you have some yummy ADRs planned! :thumbsup2 It is kind of crazy planning out what you want to eat and when half a year in advance -- I'm not sure I plan anything that far in advance usually!

Thanks! You are super close, which is much more exciting...eeek!

It is very stressful! But it looks like you have some great things planned!

Thank you, I hope so!

Haha, yea me either. It's so strange. This is a learning trip, lol! I'm sure I will be better prepared after this trip.

Princess and the Frog FMN #28

My DD is obsessed with this movie, so we had so much fun with this one! This was my DH's and my first time having Gumbo and Beignets, they both were very tasty!

The masks were their favorite part ;)

On another note, I officially sent our ADR list to my TA. I am very happy with our list but I still really want to fit in Teppan Edo. I am not wanting to give up anything for it though. So if we get free dining, we may just pay OOP to eat there. I am very anxious to hear what we end up with. Fingers crossed we get what we are hoping for.

Another adorable movie night. Those apple frogs are the coolest thing I've ever seen!! You are seriously so creative.

Good luck on getting all your ADRs! Fingers crossed for you!

been on a disbreak, but i'm back and all caught up. you're booked! that's so exciting! the plans are sounding good so far! can't wait to hear more!

Your frogs are so cute!! I still haven't seen that film. I'm thinking I may need to make a movie club purchase before our trip!

I'm joining in and following along! I feel bad though, I just noticed our reports have very similar titles. I didn't mean to steal yours, I'm just now seeing it. :(

But! It's also our first visit, and we have been to DL more times than I can count. :)

Just stumbled upon your PTR and glad I did! We are planning to go about the same time as you. Our little one with be about 3. I'm loving your family movie nights... We are starting them this Sunday and I'm struggling to put together menus because our daughter is such a picky eater. I LOVE the skirts for your daughter.

As for beaches, Clearwater (gulf) and Cocoa (Atlantic) are both about 1-1.5 hours from Orlando I believe. I've been to Cocoa, but not Clearwater.

Such a cute movie night! Sending positive vibes your way that you get everything you want!!

Thank you :)

I got the idea for the frogs on the DIS, they were so fun! Thank you :)

Glad you are back!

It's a really cute movie, you should definitely see it!

Hi!!! :welcome: No worries on the title, there are so many that there is bound to be similar ones. I will have to find your report, that's super cool!

Awww those apple and grape frogs are the most adorable food ever! You have such cute ideas!

Thank you, wish I could take the credit but I found the idea on the DIS.

Hi! :welcome: So exciting, I love having Disers on here who are going around the same time! Thank you, menus for movie nights can be tricky. My DS is SUPER picky and rarely eats much no matter what I make, so I totally understand. I've also seen movie nights where they do snacks and a movie, I'm sure my DS would have much preferred that. But there is usually at least one thing he will eat during our dinner. Thank you for your kind words.

I've been reading a lot of people recommending Clearwater Beach since it is on the gulf side. I will have to look into that one too.

Cars FMN #29 & More

A very fun movie night theme that DS was over the moon about!

DD actually enjoyed it too, she made the road dashes.

In other news....

We got Mickey Mail!!!!!

We found some Disney lanyards at Party City for $1.00 (score!), my DD decided she wants to do some pin trading. She's shy so this surprises me, we'll see if she actually does it in the parks.

And the most exciting news...

We got ALL our ADRs and times we wanted!!!! :jumping1:
Seriously, I was so nervous not having control over these and trusting that my TA would get them. I've been hearing a lot of people struggling and having trouble booking online or via the app. I was able to sleep in and wake up to an email with all my ADR confirmations with no hassle to me. That is the way to start off your day!

Another big announcement is our airfare is officially booked now! :woohoo:It's feeling so real now!

Had to share all my excitement, I was going to explode!!!:hyper:
