We were at site 1638
Three glourios days in 80 degree weather before heading back north. We have been Iin Florida all winter so really can't complain. Still having trouble posting pics so will try again later. We are in South Carolina waiting out snow and ice before heading further north.

I can't imagine being in Florida all winter and the shock to your mind/body going back North right now.

2gc you are so right. I feel like I'm on another planet with all this ice and cold.

Still having trouble loading pictures but managed to transfer this picture from my phone to tablet. Maybe will have more luck once we get to home base.

On Monday we went to DTD. Crossed the new bridge from Lego Store to Rainforest Cafe where we had lunch.

After setting up our site we rode our bikes around the Fort. We stopped at meadows for ice cream then returned to our site. Sat outside for a while then got ready for our 5:30 reservations at TEB.

Monday, March 2nd, after walking Mr. Pibbs (15 lb. Cockerpoo), we went to DTD. We crossed for the first time the bridge that connects the Lego store area to the Rainforest Cafe area. We had lunch at RFC. I purchased some Christmas ornaments as gifts and a few other surprises for grandchildren. Afterwards we went back to Fort. I gave Mr. Pibbs his afternoon walk and then i went to the Meadows pool. I absorbed as much sun as I could to take back with me in 20 degree weather.

All this fuss over the FROZEN movie and I still haven't seen it.

FWCamper, when you were at DTD did you drive over and park in that hideous new parking deck? Were the surface lots on the backside of World of Disney store and Lego store still under (re)-construction?

Bama - my two granddaughters ages 5
and 7 love Frozen and I got to warch it with them! I took the Frozen picture and sent to my daughter for them.

Not sure what work is going on behind those areas and still a lot of construction going on. We took the bus from the Fort to DTD. We will probably try driving and check those garages in October when we go. I don't like the parking garages and I don't like the new name. I will probably always call it DTD.

Bama Ed, the area behind the Lego store is all ripped up and they are building another set of parking garages there also. We didn't go in the garage, we parked behind Hess. Whole area there is a mess. I have pictures when there was only the Planet Hollywood surrounded by sand lots.

It's all the beautiful photos like these that are getting me through this horror of a winter. Coming down in April first time to the Fort, woohoo! These pics remind me how nice it is.

Tinkerdorabelle...glad you are enjoying the pictures. don't worry spring is just around the corner.

On Tuesday March 3rd we rode our bikes to Wilderness Lodge. I picked us up some coffee from Roaring Fork and we sat in the lobby and took in the ambience.

Last night I had dinner with my daughter and granddaughter. I gave her one of the gifts I got her while at DTD...and she loved it!
