Aulani - cheap flights!

Hi, all. I just snagged RT flights from Minneapolis to HNL for $395/each for next January (2016). United is the only option at this fare. I checked various dates over the next year and they were all this cheap or less. Not sure if it's a glitch or if it will last, but wanted to share with my DIS-friends that are trying to get to Aulani. We sure weren't planning on going back so soon! Also, United has a 24-hour penalty-free cancellation, if you're on the fence.

Cool Thanks for the info. How far into 2016 can you see rates?

Looks like only through January. Rates are still low, I just checked United's site!

Not that low for me...cheapest is 698. What dates? I would fly to MN with my points and then fly to HI for that rate.

Pretty much all dates, from what I can see. Do a search for your area, I don't think it's just MN. Maybe Kayak can get you locations? Make sure to fly into HNL. I thought I saw other cities cheap.

Thanks I did find some cheap dates, I am really debating this. I could fly my family of 5 for the cost of almost one typical flight RT Hmmmmm....

FWIW, United doesn't have the best reputation for on-time flights to Hawaii, but for that price we're willing to risk it. Keep in mind you can cancel with no fee for the next 24 hours. We're not 100% sure yet ourselves, but booked to make sure it doesn't vanish on us. I'm surprised it's still available! It's got to be an error on their part!

When we went to Hawaii last time it was through United and we didn't have any problems. Thanks again for the info

FYI, for anyone else looking. I guess these are the airports involved (lowest fare at each):

• Minneapolis [MSP] – $355
• Detroit [DTW] – $381
• Memphis [MEM] – $365
• Cincinnati [CVG] – $360
• Salt Lake [SLC] – $355

Just found that on a fare deal alert website. Also saw it may not actually be a glitch. Flyertalk said something about Delta having slammed UA's hubs yesterday and now this is the reverse. All I know is that it's getting us back to Hawaii for under $400/each vs. the $900+/each that all the other airlines are showing for the same dates.

Just checked back this morning and our flights are still $395 on United's site, in case anyone is just seeing this.

Aaaaaaannnnnndddd.....they're GONE! Just heard they're not showing up anymore and back to normal rates.
