Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

Since I'm sitting here waiting on the next snow storm to start I decided to do a little cruise planning. I just booked our excursion for Nassau!

Did you do it on your own? Not through Disney I assume. What excursion did you book? We are planning Blue Lagoon but definitely through DCL.

I don't know! Let's talk about that! I thought it might be really fun but also I'm afraid the day is going to fly by and I want to spend some time as a family and not have the kids gone for most of the day. I'll have to look into it and see how long they are. I remember looking at them a while back and the kayaking sounds fun. Not sure what else there is for teens. What is the age limit? I'll have 11 and 12 as well as 15.

I was looking at the parasailing for them I know its expensive but what an amazing view.
 
Well I'm totally in shock. I got every dining reservation we wanted and the time we wanted! I realize we're going in low season but I still didn't think it would be that easy!

So did I, but I didn't make any for the parks. Still happy with what I got! Next countdown is Cruise on line check in???

Only half of mine were for inside the parks including Be Our Guest for lunch-I'm so excited that I got that one! So today was an early wake up for a Saturday and looks like we still have a late night to look forward to for the cruise check in ;)

Grant wants to do the parasailing. I don't think I'm brave enough to do it, ha! In fact, let's just say right now that it is not going to happen for me. I like the ground under my feet.
 
It looks like Disney Dream starts their Halloween themed cruises on Sept. 7th, the day we set sail.
Is anyone able to clarify this?

Not quite yet, lol! Still 183 days 18 hours 27 minutes approximately according to my boarding countdown :goodvibes I'm not excited or anything! And I don't have a countdown for each segment of our trip on my phone either :rotfl:

I can't wait until Monday so I can make my reservations too!! I'm green with envy!! I'm only wanting 2 reservations, so I hope I don't have any problems.
 
FE- guys I have to admit I am getting cold feet. Can we still be friends if I back out? It's our first cruise and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with the idea of all that we have to get done anyway, then add on making/buying stuff, packaging it up, the extra luggage involved with bringing it along, and then on a short cruise anyway- taking the time to run stuff all over the ship. I don't want to be a party pooper, but I also don't want to overwhelm myself on what is supposed to be a fun vacation.

Thoughts? What is the downside of FE? I mean, my main motivation for doing it was making connections with other cruisers. It seems like we are doing that on here. I want to make a decision soon so that others can take our place and before the group has started working on FE for our family.
